Idea The line between Teaming and Trucing

get rid of it all, i wanna kill everyone

 

I know for a fact if we get rid of that type of playstyle it'll become "NO TRUCING" as well, but we can't get rid of trucing in general, because some people wanna have fun with the community by not pvp'ing. But some will say 'just stay in spawn' it's honestly not the same... but that's just me.

 

The way that we are defining trucing versus teaming is that trucing means you won't attack another player. It doesn't necessarily mean you and that person will combine to attack another player. Teaming means that you and someone else both attack one person. Not allowing trucing wouldn't make any sense as it's not hurting anyone.

 

I'm not obligated to attack someone else on the FFA arena. Some players just go there and chill.

Honestly speaking, people just need to stop teaming and just for once, forget that they have friends playing KitPvP, and actually play the objective. Every time I'm on, there are atleast 4-5 people just standing around at mid, and if you try to pvp one of them you either get jumped, or they clean you up after you kill one of the players.

This is one of the main reasons not much people play Kit Brawl anymore, because everyone is truced/teamed on there.
Just play the game and you'll enjoy it, and of course if one of two of your friends are on do whatever you want, but stop teaming with the whole server.

 

I agree to a certain extent a lot of people sometimes including me use kitbrawl to hang with friends but I get where you're coming from.

 

Yeah, like I don't mind that people use it as a place to hang with friends, I understand that and everyone does, but after all it still is a Kit PvP server

 

i legit used to be one of those people but im slowly growing out of it, it just gets boring like that

The thing is that you can't enforce a player to pvp. Banning someone for just standing still or chilling around would be ridiculous. It's like warning a Build player just because he isn't building. If you want to help out and get rid of teamers then report them.

Also, as other mods have stated above, teaming and trucing is different. Trucing is like being neutral, you don't attack someone in specific but you also don't team with him against other players. Teaming is self-explanatory, team on someone.

I don't know why trucing shouldn't be allowed. It doesn't affect you or someone else.

 

Well just crit them out, that's what I do. Honestly it's not hard to do... If you want the pvp action of kitbrawl just crit them out, I do the same... but you might get hate for it in game, like me. And if you're still worried about cleaning (like any other kitpvp server) run away...

I don't wanna sound mean, but a majority of the players who just like to cool it, and not worry about anything are fairly easy enough to 4 soup... But that's just me.

 

I agree but I think if trucing is to be allowed it should have more bounderies.

 

I don't mind so long as people actually still fight instead of sitting in mid.

 

If two people are truced together, they can do so. but if they gang up on you, it is considered allying which should receive warnings if brawl wishes to put this in place or any other method.

However, I don't really mind either, it does suck but it puts you up to the challenge for a 2v1, if you're into that.
