War 2.0 Clan Rewards [Discussion]

    Sup brawlers!

    In 2.0, as most of you know, there's going to be a clan limit of players, and that, as of right now is 18 players.

    In 2.0, I think you should be rewarded for outstanding clan activity, such as kills, wins, experience gained. Every month you could win rewards for winning in any of those categories.

    The stats could work just like normal ones do, but just as a group. Each member of the clan would contribute towards those stats, as long as they are in the clan.

    The rewards could include
    -VIP for all members for 1 week
    -Any choice of a couple boosters spread throughout the clan
    -A crap ton of credits or xp

    Thoughts?

    This could make it more competitive and would hopefully provoke some more activity! :grinning:

    This sounds a lot like the clan leaderboards we had back on McPvP, and God that was fun. There were two clans, TEMPX and Ron, with members who'd play hours and hours a day just to get their clan at the top of the leaderboard.

    If there were two separate leaderboards - one for player stats, one for clan stats - this would be absolutely amazing and considerably improve the competitiveness of the game.

    Hell, I could even imagine people getting everyone in their clan online while they put on a booster to get an advantage on the leaderboard. I love this idea.

    I'm not a huge fan of giving out too many ranks to people, as ultimately ranks are money and Brawl needs as much money as it can get at the moment thanks to the EULA.

    This isn't a bad suggestion at first, but it could give this clan a much bigger advantage for the next month. If the users had a couple of clan-exclusive XP boosters, they could utilise these very well and get a huge advantage over other clans, allowing them to win the next month, and the cycle would continue.

    Any extra stats obtained as a result of these clan-exclusive XP boosters should not go towards the clan leaderboards, to avoid this issue.

    Why not. It'd be nice to give out more XP and credits to the people who contributed more to the clan each month, however.

    Good points! I could definitely see how giving bonuses such as VIP and boosters would be unfair/not beneficial. Credits and xp sounds good enough.

    Maybe for every 100k gained for the clan, you get another player slot? Every 50k the clan gets get 1 hour xp booster?

    This is such a good idea because it gives another meaning to clans.

    I really like this idea, even thought about it myself a couple of times but too lazy to write it back then

    This got a lot of potential as well like what @RockTomb said, which can pretty much be clan levels since having the same xp for each new spot would just boost the biggest clan and make it even more op.

    Maybe a points/trophy system. There could be seasons (one season per month) and during the season clans would try to win matches. Each match they win = plus a certain amount of trophies/points. Let's say you get 30 points per win. If you managed to get to 500 points your clan could get a booster. 700 points a longer booster, 1000 points bunch of credits or something, 2000 points 1 month VIP for every clan member who participated, etc.

    Numbers and prizes could be changed.

    By winning matches, do you mean if a clan is on the winning team, they earn the trophies/points?

    Overall I think it's a great idea that would definitely add incentive to come back and continue playing. In fact, a sort of "seasons" concept could work well on other Brawl servers as well, especially because player retention is one of Brawl's biggest problems right now.

    Potentially, the boosters could just be global ones. That way it is even more crucial to get clan members on to make the booster beneficial to their clan.

    I am all for some system like this, it would definitely give players something to do once everyone ranks up, completes achievements or goals, etc.

    The reward system could work like something similar to "Clash of Clans" Clan War system, where the more stars you contribute to your clan, the bigger loot bonus you receive if you win.

    They should somehow implement random loot chests that can vary from exp, tokens, temporary perks etc. And if maybe per level up so that way leveling up is more exciting rather than just stop at 100+ xd

    but then again, too much to add >.< welp ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
