Redstone guides

I recently had the (very original) idea to make redstone tutorials on the Build "Guides" section and wanted to know your opinions about it.

These tutorials will be focused on computer elements, logical reasonning and smart machines. Don't be affraid, even someone who don't usually make redstone can make these, they don't recommend any high redstone skills. I'll start by the most basic machines (encoders, memories, writing machines or digital pistonless clock) in these guides so everyone can follow and understand what they're doing and then head towards more complex units like calculators, binnary-to-BCD decoder etc.

(Basic machines are way smaller don't worry).

I know digital stuff isn't exiting for everyone and that's part of why I'm asking you what you think of this. If you do not find it interesting, don't hesitate to put a "No" on the poll, it helps me decide. I also doubt these could really fit the build forum since, well, it's redstone, not really a build.

Here are my arguments for/against this idea which makes me hesitate.

Yes:

• It might get some people's interest on the digital world.
• It could help those who wants to go more in depth concerning redstone.

No:

• It's impossible to make these machines on Brawl (due to this glitch and for obvious lag reasons).
• Redstone isn't a "build", it's not the point of the forum.
• The many redstone threads might "flood" the Guides section.
• These machines are pretty useless.
• It'll take a lot of time for me to make these tutorials.
