Koth Recap #3 - Webs, Trench and Another Wall!

At the Raid Koth today, it was a fairly average Koth, however it did go on longer than normal. For most of the koth, Meta had 5 members while Legacy had 2 members, however they had a few truces helping them. This resulted in a fairly even fight however we still outnumbered them slightly.

Several hours before the start of the Koth, I was told by Dragonvator that Legacy and his team were going to cap the koth as they had been grinding for a long time by themselves and were able to make multiple protection 4 sets. However, in reality Legacy’s only members online, NeClass and Jeenns were both only wearing a mix of reg diamond and some other enchanted stuff.

At the start of the Koth, Meta had 5 people capping. Myself and Nohacks had built a fairly large wall and a huge trench at spawn hoping to stop Legacy from escaping. However, this nearly caused several of our members to die.

2 minutes into the cap, NeClass, Jeenss, hockeyxxxxxxxkid and another random guy all came to the Koth, some wearing p4, some wearing reg diamond. We killed them fairly quickly though. During the whole koth, we had 3 people wearing Protection 4 whilst ShadowSlayer and NLS wore a mix of iron and diamond.

This happened several times, and we kept getting knocked off of the cap. Eventually though, hockeyxxxxxxxkid and LowkeySalty stopped coming and did something else so it was just NeClass and Jeenss. But before this, PingWoo had gone out on to the other side of the wall, he was getting 4v1ed and nearly died. However myself, NoHacks and NLS came to save him and managed to 2 of them.
During this, LowkeySalty managed to sneak away to the Koth and was able to kill ShadowSlayer who had a clogged inventory. This was our only dead of the whole koth so we didn't do too badly.

About 30 minutes into the koth, Jens and NeClass came again. This time however, ShadowSlayer was able to place webs outside of the spawn so I used my KB sword to hit NeClass into one of them. This allowed us to crit him out and kill him quite quickly. Similar things happened with the webs and we managed to get several kills from them.

About 45 minutes into the koth, NeClass and Jens came again. This time though, we decided to stay inside the wall instead of going out to spawn and trying to stop them getting anywhere. When I quickly went out to debuff NeClass however, NoHacks accidentally sent out as well. While I managed to get back inside, NoHacks was 2v1ed but was able to escape with 1 heart.

A few minutes later and NeClass logged off. However Jens was still able to knock a few times before Meta finally capped. Good fight, would be more fun if more legacy people actually turned up though.

Also Legacy, you should learn to knock like Alex

 

It was probably a 7 or 8v1 because by the end, 2 vanta members had joined and we had a truce helping as well as the 5 meta members.
