    Your favorite music genre and why. And before you do that, don't judge other genres of music, be civil. Just because you don't like some genre doesn't mean it's bad. Also, don't generalize certain genres, that just makes you look ignorant. Some genres of music have influenced others also. My favorite genre personally is metal. I like the complexity of the guitar work, and the energy and occasional ballads that some bands have. I'm not a fan of the slamming beatdown stuff though, that bores me. I also like classical, jazz, some hip-hop, and punk. And some classic rock. Also music is not always a competition, just because you like one band more than some other doesn't mean it's better. And before this certain argument starts, popularity doesn't mean a damn thing about how good some artist is.

    I like pop music and I'm hugely into trap/rap songs like Travis Scott, Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert. I also like acts like XXXTentacion and some of the $uicideBoy$' songs.

    I listen to everything from Country to Techno, man.

    My playlists confuse people 'cause they'll switch genres on a dime lmao

    However it's rare that I like all the music put out by any given artist(s), and even more rare that I enjoy music on the charts due to sheer overexposure and repetition. Indie all the way baby.

    Rock/hardrock from the 60's-90's and I also enjoy listening to Metal sometimes.
    I really like Rock and Hardrock because of all the instruments and the rhythms and stuff. I just like the music and songs with guitar solo's get my extra liking.

    Metal, because sometimes I just enjoy listening to something that's slightly harder than hardrock. There's this yearly Metalfest I like going to.

    I like music because it sounds good.

    Check out electro-swing.
    Not quite Jazz but damn is it good.
