Changing up the way Soup works!

    So I just had a random brainwave!
    There are currently 3 types of Soup in the game:
    Cacti Stew:

    Mushroom Stew (Soup (duh)):

    Chocolate Milk:

    Each of these heals 3.5 hearts instantly when eaten.
    So why not change it up to combine the idea of nosoup with the idea of keeping soup as a core part of the game?

    Cacti Stew could heal more since it's a bit rarer, also cocoa bean spawning needs a tweak - also reduce the healing from cocoa soup a bit since it's so easy to come by.

    And mushroom stew, you may ask? This is where it gets very difficult.
    Mushroom spawn rates are very high since they spawn in I'd say 3/4 biomes.
    Nerf the spawn rates in Dark Wood Forests, remove them from jungles (and make the jungles a bit wider),
    and reduce swamp spawn rates by at least 15%.

    And now, for my favorite part.
    A new type of soup!
    Any cook worth his title will have a bit of meat in a stew, right?
    So:

    What's this do? Essentially, you get the saturation from the stew and the food added together in each variation - and have 4 hearts of healing at your disposal.

    "But Uranium! That'd be OP for people like you!" No, and here's why: we nerf the amount of foodstuffs each animal can drop, and of course nerf the hunger a bit (since it's STILL BROKEN @HGStaff). The recraft time on this is also going to be a bit different: Instead of having instant recraft, you have to stand still to craft these (stand still for say 3 seconds for 5, 5 for 16, and 10 for 32).

    This doesn't really touch on my issues with soup. It'll still be incredibly tricky for new players to pick up, it'll still allow souping pros to soup through any strategy in the game and it'll still cause individual fights to be 4-5 minutes in some cases.

    I mean, it's not a bad change by any means. It's just not much of a step in the right direction, in my opinion.

    It does agree with the farming strategy that noobs use much more - smelting iron, you'll be standing still for much longer.

    I'm not a fan of any of these ideas. Personally I think they'll make HG suck to both new players and returning old players.
    1. New crafting recipes for soup. New players have to learn this, so do old players. Both are gonna wonder why mobs aren't dropping food too.

    2. Standing still when recrafting. In the unlikely event that a noob realises soup will heal health, and actually soups till his inven is gone, he's gonna try and recraft and fail, coz there's way too many things to recraft, and coz he's not standing still. In the unlikely event that a returning old player tries HG, and then tries to recraft, the recrafts aren't gonna produce anything in the crafting results, so he's gonna be mildly pissed when he fails the recraft and die

    The standing still idea needs a tweak I'll admit.

    That's one issue. The other is the fact that this idea is adding so many more crafting recipes that new players need to know. Sure it's only adding meat, but getting new players to use soup is already so tough, what more do you think that they'll learn how to craft soup with meat? Sorry, my view still stands, this idea isn't good imo
