More War Competitions!

I really like the idea that you mentioned "There could be different themes, like best dissa, iso and msr kills"
From my time playing War I haven't seen this idea. I think its worth a shot! War does need more players at the moment and it is true. I was very eager to see if I won in the competitions.

 

Who's going to host it? And how will tracking kills work for one person. It is harder than most of you guys think. There is the backend that needs to be dealt with.

 

As stated above, kills are definitely hard to track for one person, especially with a specific weapon. IF this is codeable (talking about the whole most kills with a certain weapon thing), then I feel like it would be an awesome addition to war. It would make the server more interesting and competitive while also allowing members to experiment with new guns they don't often use.

 

They did when they did the ray gun and cbow contests back in 2013 for an iPad. Idk if we have a dev who can code it. Maybe whoever gets the most kills in a month, by screenshotting their brawl user profile status page.

 

First of all: Yes I'd like to see some War events as well. But to be honest, I have to disagree with you: The last kill competition wasn't a success at all. There weren't many entries, we were glad to be able to make a Top 10. Therefore I personally see more chances in hosting little ingame events like I already do from time to time or like War Fun Sundays.

 

They only got a few entries. Basically if you had a clip no matter how good it was you would still get in the top 10. So if we did more you wouldnt even have to try to win/get in the top 10. The player count simpley isnt high enough to make good contests.

Also you saying that the contest "hyped" up war and made them tryhard doesent make sense because the player count is still the same and the winner @tallscot did his entry 10 minuites before the contest was over and still won.

I suggest that we make more ingame events like @SkullcrusherLD mentioned many times in various threads like "The winner of this FFA chooses the next map"

 

It means that i don't think he "tryharded" like you staded that the players did

 

We do not frequently organize competitions as we used to only because of the lack of entries that we got last time in order to make a tangible and very competitive event. Nonetheless, with upcoming features being added to Brawl (or already added) that will increase the player base, it’d be great to take these back with prizes into the bargain.

Speaking now about events but this response relates to @SkullcrusherLD’s. We’ve been allowed to handle mini-events by ourselves if we judge that this will be advantageous for everyone (without boosters, sadly).

We, war players, truly want more and more competitions to be organized but this asks for time, entries, and players.

 

One of the popular events was just players getting free perks/ guns/ equipment and we might have to do this again one time.

One of my ideas was a VIP event, where one of the staff members has prot 4 diamond armor, and the first person to kill them would get a gun/ perk/ equipment of there choice. This would be easy to setup and run. This could be a potential event one time.

 

Does xp include when won for those who bought all the perks and the stuff. Anyways nice idea!

 

I would love to see some of these competitions!
Hopefully some of other peoples perfect snipes will teach me to get 1 kill with Iso :c
