Basically I think adding a command like "/mapplayers" to see who is on the map you are on. You can see how many players are on the map via the sidebar, and I think this would be nice to keep track of who is on your map.
In my opinion it should be accessible by everyone, not just map owners.

This will be usefull, there's /list for the players on the server, but as far as I know, nothing to list players on your map (I might be wrong tho). This could be a cool addition if it's not already done.

I've looked, there isn't any command in place to see who's on your map.

Another idea is to include this into the commands "/mapinfo" and "/author"

I know, but this could be included in the output of those comands or use something like "/mapplayers"

+1. I don't know why this hasn't been implemented earlier.

+0. I see why you would want this command to be implemented, but I really don't think it is necessary to have it. Unless you have 10+ people on your map, you can just keep track of the people on your map when the "<player> has joined." message pops up. You can also see the name-tags of people on your map just by looking at the player.

When you join a map, you don't have any way to know who's on the map. Also, since the maps are 500 x 500 and the entity view is 50 x 50, you'll have to go to (50/500)²= 100 places minimum to see everyone, assuming the players don't move.
Edit: The player view is apparently 100 x 100 on brawl, but that still does 25 places minimum just to see every player.

That is true. I was originally talking in the point of view of a map owner, but in the point of view of a visitor/member/helper this command would be helpful to know who is on the map.

I am still going to be +0, as the command really isn't necessary, since you could just ask who is on your map at the time.

Not everyone you come across is going to be cooperative with you.
Yes, you are right but not everyone can keep track of everything happening in their map. Local and Global chat also play a role as they make player joining and leaving messages less visible.

If someone disconnect, the leaving message don't even appear, you can't keep track of the count anyway.

    Very persistent.
Okay, I get where you guys are getting at. I see no reason why it shouldn't be added, its just that there could be things Brawl could focus on before this.

True but it's still quite easy to be added. Take the two past updates for example. It just takes 2 minutes for someone to code this.

Yea, I really wouldn't think this would be any harder to do than the warp/map signs.

Alright man, I guess you are right. I've changed my opinion on this.

It is true that the "<player> has left." message doesn't work, and yes it is hard to keep track of people on the map. It probably would take very little time to code too, and I don't see any massive updates coming to Build soon. +1

    Weird, I didn't get a notification.

    Asking putty rn.

I pretty much need the command to locate people griefing and lagging out the server on specific maps, it'll be faster than individual teleports.
