[Bug] Few bugs and suggestions

    Few bugs I found when playing Minecraft party:
    • In chicken game some of the mobs spawn outside the map and it's kinda annoying to deal with. Hopefully this can be a quick fix as I know it used to work some time ago.
    • In block war there are some spots you can't place your blocks (See Screenshot) 2017-06-26_17.02.00.png This is probably because the arena is setup as a square instead of what the arena actually is.
    • Just a small thing, but there are some grammar issues in the descriptions of the gamemodes. Not that I mind it, but it would look a bit more professional if they weren't there and it probably shouldn't take to long to fix that.
    • Also most of the shop doesn't work at the moment. You are not able to select any of the horse cosmetics right now.
      Edit: Looks like the whole shop is currently now working (Tested)
    Suggestions:
    • I think we should have something like a MVP prize. Currently I can go on a nice streak killing people in one of the chamber only to be shot down by someone who has been camping the whole game. I don't mind losing but still it's kinda annoying. I suggest having a MVP prize for those people. For games like One in the chamber, snowball fight and other games where you kill people. Just give them coins equal to the amount of people killed.
    • I think we should have a better way to spend coins and a point system. First off the coins: I am currently sitting on 30k coins and there is no reason to buy anything other than the horse armor (Which is a good buy). The ingame items you can buy are nice, but they aren't worth the investment. They are nice to buy once and then never buy them again.
      There are a lot of threads already about ideas so I won't go any further into this.

      Points: So, why would we need points? Well, we need it because we are currently able to spend coins and coins are currently the way to see who is "The best" on the leaderboard. This kinda seems weird to me now as I kinda get punished by buying horse armor if I want to climb the leaderboard. It's just a small thing and not too important
    • I think having some more maps in the rotation would be great. The infection map just doesn't cut it for that gamemode. Horse races are amazing and I bet there are still left that could be used on the Minecraft Build server (Maybe even an build event for a nice party map? :wink:)

    PS: Maybe I should have placed this to ideas but I wasn't sure because of the bugs. Mods can move it around if they want it.

    Hi there! I'll create a list to respond to each point.
    • Imo enough mobs spawn inside the map that it isn't a big deal if some spawn outside of it. It's just a throwing event that is causing the eggs to fly to random locations and although it'd be easy to fix, I don't see much of a point in doing so.
    • Yes, I've noticed this too and I believe it is in the party trello. But, once again, it's such a small bug (only affecting 1 or 2 lines of the entire arena) that it doesn't seem a top priority to fix as it doesn't greatly affect gameplay.
    • If you can send over pictures either here or in a pm to me about which messages need to be fixed ingame I can send them off to roke with a fixed message to hopefully not have grammatical mistakes. Thank you for noticing and pointing it out because I wasn't aware.
    • The shop is currently not working because I am somehow able to crash party games if I buy something from the store, so it is disabled. More threads that have been created about this topic can be found here, here, and here.
    As for the suggestions, some of them have been suggested already, so I'll see if I can link the threads down below (also in a list).
    • Sadly I couldn't find the thread that had suggested this before, but I still love the idea and think it would be a great addition to the game! ^-^
    • The main spot this was talked about was in Ryguy's player retention thread here, down below in the comments. Pinned threads cannot be gravedug, so if you have any other suggestions for ways to use coins, go ahead and let us know there!
    • There recently actually was a party map build event and a lot of good maps were submitted! You can see all map entries here and you can see all party build entries here.
