How To Direct Connect & Enable The Server Resource Pack

Many of you are having trouble activating the server resource pack for Battle Royale, so here's a short guide on how to do so.

Direct Connecting & Enabling the Resource Pack

If you're online, you're first going to need to disconnect.

After you disconnect, it will be easier for you to just add a server to your list with resource packs enabled. To do so, first click 'Add Server'. After that, a screen will show up with a place to name your server, put the server address in, and the ability to disable/enable server resource packs.

In the first text box there will already be "Minecraft Server" but just go ahead and type Battle Royale in that one.

In the second text box, this is going to be the direct connect address that will take you straight to Battle Royale without navigating through a Brawl lobby. The server address is 1.br.brawl.com. There are currently 4 Battle Royale servers, so the number in front can be any number between 1 and 4. Also, br.brawl.com puts you on the most populated server.

Below that, there's a button with the ability to change the status of your resource packs. To enable it, simply click on that button until it says "enable".

After that, click Done, and you should have another server added to your list that connects to Battle Royale! Upon connecting, the resource pack will download automatically. If this doesn't work, be sure to use Minecraft 1.9+ for this to be successful, there are a few bugs concerning some other Minecraft Clients.

Crashing on connect?

If you want to play with the server pack on 1.8.9, you can join first with 1.9+ then downgrade.
