Suggestion for Sheriff Applications

    This is a very short thread, sorry to any of you who love threads that are an entire page long.

    I was thinking, why are only staff and members of the wiki and build teams, allowed to respond to sheriff applications. I don't think that regular players should be able to respond to threads, but I was thinking that we should give sheriffs the ability to respond to sheriff applications. I think, that the sheriffs would love to have a voice, in who is joining the sheriff team with them. Just a small idea for sheriff applications.

    Sheriffs can't post on applications because it would require a whole new forum rank to be made - this rank would cross all gamemodes on the network, rather than just Wild West. This is the reason there's no sheriff channel in TS, too.

    However, they already have a say - when Random was SMod and in charge of promoting sheriffs, he would ask in sheriffs chat about their opinions on applicants, and they would highly influence who gets promoted and who does not. They do have a say, they're just unable to post on applications for the reasons above.

    As a member of the wiki team I can tell you that we are not allowed to respond to sheriff applications. Build and media team members cannot reply either.

    Just wanted to clear that up

    If this was easy to do I would say +1. But, like Socool said, it would require a whole new rank. Also, who is in charge of sheriffs now?

    Hmm If I was owner...
    I would get rid of all the games except war and Wild West. Ooh O also would give myself 50 mil on Wild West xd
