On The Battlefield Chapter I

Tweet! The battle whistle blows. “Charge!” yells the commander. The German stormtroopers are making a push on the British’s St. Quentin Scar in the Perrone Sector in France. It is late summer of 1918 the middle of WWI. The British must hold their front lines from the Germans. If the line falls the germans will move on to a valuable train station at Amiens that can turn over the war.

What follows is all frontline combat at St. Quentin Scar. “Guten Morgen, British.” “CHARRRGE!” screams the German commander. BOOM! A shell hits a nearby German tank, it explodes.

Back at the abandoned German trenches. “If we don’t take out this artillery well be blown to pieces,” says a German soldier. “First we have to break through these trenches then the artillery will be easy,” says the commander.

On the battlefield. “Wilhelm get down!” Yells Otto. BOOM! A German soldier goes flying.

“Thanks.” Says Wilhelm “We are 100 meters from their trenches when we get there pull out your gas mask it’s gonna get deadly.” Says Otto. The two friends run and run until they are in front of a bunker.

“Otto get down!” screams Wilhelm. Heavy machine gun fire from the bunker takes down at least 6 german troops.

“We need to take out that bunker or we'll get mowed too.” Says Otto.

“He he he.” whispers Wilhelm. “I've got that covered.” Wilhelm pulls out a grenade launcher. KABOOM!!! The bunker gets destroyed by a german shell. “Dang It!” Says Wilhelm, “That was mine!”

“Okay we have a clear path let’s run through their trenches.” Says Otto.

“Wait!” says Wilhelm, “Get your gas mask on now!” Gas shoots everywhere gassing everyone without a gas mask.

“Okay now's our chance.” Says Otto. They run into the trenches and to their despair they find a group of german soldiers on the floor, gassed. “It’s Hermann’s Unit!” Says Otto “But where's Hermann?” “Over there, he’s pinned down!” They run over too Hermann.

“Guys I thought you were flanking them.” Says Hermann.

“That area had too many bunkers so we cut through a gap.” Says Otto.

“No time to talk we might get sniped.” says Hermann. “Go to the next trench i’ll cover you.”

“Let’s go.” says Otto. They charge to the next trench. “Hey wait I don’t see any…” Says Otto. “YAHH.”

A british soldier yells out loud and charges them knocking Otto to the ground. Wilhelm KOs him. “That was close.” Says Otto.

“I got your back.” says Wilhelm. Right then three British soldiers charged in. Luckily Hermann was able to snipe down two of them. Rat! A bullet goes through the British sergeant fired by Otto. They scope out the area. “Where's that artillery?” says Wilhelm. “Oh no...” “Roughly 150 meters followed with MG fire.”

“That’s a deathtrap without a tank!” says Otto. They start their journey to the next trench.

“There's got to be at least 50 troops in those trenches.” says Wilhelm. Tanks arrive for backup followed by a 150 man charge. “Let’s roll.” As they charge they take cover 25 meters from the bunker. Wilhelm fires a grenade launcher. BOOM! The bunker blows to pieces. “YES!” says Wilhelm. As they charge Otto is hit badly. “NOOOOO!” screams Wilhelm. “I’ll… I’ll come back for you Otto.” Wilhelm goes into the trenches. He sees a group of five British in another bunker. “You shot my friend you’ll pay!” Yells Wilhelm. Rat Rat Tat Tat. He fires a machine gun, taking down three British soldiers. A British comes from behind and is about to kill Wilhelm,. A plane swerves by and mows the British down and drops bombs on the bunker, BOOM! “Now I got to get Otto!” Wilhelm remembers. He finds his friend on a medic cot. “Is he he alive?” asks Wilhelm shakingly. “We don’t have a pulse.” says the medic, “He’s d…” “NOOOO!” “He’s not!” yells Wilhelm. “Sorry he’s dead sir. We need you to keep fighting.” Wilhelm cries and runs toward the artillery depressed. He takes cover and throws a grenade and explodes two artillery guns. “Okay now i need to go in.” says Wilhelm shakingly. He runs in. Bam Bam. He takes out two British. He turns around to quickly shoot another, bam! “That’s it for my pistol.” says Wilhelm. He throws his pistol and accidentally KOs a British soldier about to stab him. “I didn’t expect that.” says Wilhelm. He grabs his rifle, the Gewehr Infantry. Bam cock bam cock bam. He takes down two british that were about to artillery shell his tank support. He sees Hermann in the distance sniping a british sniper. As the British sniper gets hit he falls of the windmill. Shortly after the windmill explodes covering all the artillery. Wilhelm takes out some retreating British soldiers. “My job here is finally done.” says Wilhelm. “Guten Nachmittag British.”

After the battle. “We’ve got intel from Berlin that we are to chase the british to Amiens and take over the vital train station.” says a radioman.

“Hmm this will be a tough battle taking over a city like this.” says Wilhelm.

“Hey Wilhelm!” says Hermann, “You made it!”

“Of course i did.” says Wilhelm. “But Otto didn’t make it.”

“I’m sorry for your loss Wilhelm.” says Hermann. “We should leave the past behind and take out these brits out.” “LET’S DO THIS!”


This is what the battle of St. Quentin Scar or Mont St. Quentin was like in the late summer of 1918. After the battle the German stormtroopers successfully broke through the British western front and headed toward Amiens. There was a big battle at Amiens. The reason it was so valuable is because it transported food, troops, guns and grenades to all places in France.
