    You got those type of people who like to show off with their W.E. and then you notice that half of your world is gone. They undo it don't worry, but then you start to get suspicious

    un-perm them

    OR maybe there can be either a new rank or changes to helper.

    Im thinking this.

    (still has the same settings to helper but includes,)
    Unable to use W.E.
    cool-down when using lava/water once again (thinking 5 secs) (useful for people who don't know //drain or don't like cobblestone everywhere)
    Unable to break blocks that they haven't placed

    Basically they just need your approval for everything :stuck_out_tongue:

    Just a thought.

    Just don't perm anyone that you don't know personally. There's even a message for that in - game.

    You don't need to learn the hard way. Not only is there an in-game message saying that you shouldn't perm people you don't know, but it's simply common sense that you shouldn't.

    The sad thing is that not many people have common sense.


    Anyways all jokes aside, The two mods above did state you should know to perm only people you know, and yes most people are trustworthy but there's always that one guy that... and it's your fault if you permed him, Brawl should not have to make a new perm because you got griefed. Helper is there as a trial rank, if you can't trust someone as a helper Keep them visitor, where they can still access it and use redstone.

    So then what are they meant to help with if they can't do anything meaningful besides place a few blocks on their own? Also, keep in mind players can grief even when placing their own blocks without worldedit, so you don't even combat the issue.

    I can agree with the replies stated above.

    I can simply suggest this: keep them in visitor if you are talking about a very precious map. Make them pass through trust tests by first giving them Helper and later moving to higher ranks.
