Showcase Space shuttle disaster - Build contest V

May the 10th, 2018. twenty-two past six a.m. NASA's space shuttle was ready for a historic take off, with the french astronaut Thomas Pesquet and a few colleagues prepared for the great day. They were going to stay in the Internationnal Space Station for seven months, before coming back to earth.

At this moment, a dramatic incident happended. The right reactor of the rocket exploaded brutally and blown everything away in a radius of half a kilometer. Three seconds were enough to disfigure Florida's space center. Four astronauts, a quarter of NASA's staff members and hundreds of inhabitants watching the scenary died in the tragedy.

Down below, rare picture of high framerate cameras and a drone situated around the shuttle. As you can see the rocket resisted the explosion and stayed straight during a few seconds.

I feel bad because pictures with shaders would look so good on this one! Anyway, hope you like it guys, took me a few hours to make.

Oh, what I completely forgot to say, this was a 100x100 build off against @Lekosa1, theme space. We decided to post it as a contest entry anyway, so it can inspire people. Check his build it's pretty well done!
