imo, battle royale wasn't able to hold a player base because the only people who knew about it were people who played on other brawl servers. The first few days it was a super popular fun game, but as the days went on people migrated back to their favorite gamemode. For example, warz players would rather own gear and loot things constantly than having to wait for a quick 10min game to start. Wild West players would rather be continually making that balance go higher and higher and to rule the server with their team. BR didn't have that kind of draw, and imo it wasn't that diverse - every game was super similar. I thought it was great fun, but went on vacation as it was released and found that the server was empty when I returned.

For it to have a growing community there needs to be more goals than winning and getting as many kills as you can.

 

Uh we never got any youtubers to upload it then other servers came out with it and they uploaded there.
