Banned :(

I do not use tracers, but I was banned for tracers. My appeal was denied (edit: anonymously, for a month denied), I didn't want to wait a month, so I bought an unban. Keep the 10$ that isn't what this post is about.

I don't want to get banned again, can someone please explain what happened? I play legit.

@chickenputty Lifetime MvP here, asking for some explanation. I play 100% legitimate, but I was banned from your server. Some of your mods have told me about their experience being false banned. I bought my unban after hearing that, and after my appeal was anonymously denied for a month. I play everyday. I don't care about my 10$ unban fee consider it a donation. I don't hack, so what exactly made some staff think I was hacking? I want my record clear.

 

I don't use tracers or hack. I know where the entrances are to each base, I turn all sounds off except players and blocks, and I watch for nametags using f5. There are plenty of ways to tell when someone gets close to you without hacking.

The time immediately before I was banned, I logged off at poppy base after hearing a gate or door or chest open near me. There's no magic to my method. I have heard from several players, including mods, that they have experienced false bans themselves. Do you have ANY evidence of what you claim above, or is it all Their word against Mine? Many people don't understand the extent to which you can legitimately detect people around you.

I don't even use f3+A all the time, but that makes it super easy, and there are guides about it on these very forums lol.

As a side note, I just watched a Raid tournament where both finalists had some distinctly fishy early rounds. I think Brawl needs to seriously reevaluate how it goes about determining hacking. If you take a scientific, evidence driven approach, you will cut down on false bans.
