More houses?

Yes, or change the 40k to 25k, and the 125k to 50k

 

There are still 40k houses in other towns available. Few people buy the 125k and no one buys the really expensive ones because they'd rather rent a 40k in a different town. There's no need for more cheap housing at this point. -1

In the future, when Team Caps are added, perhaps the House size could affect the team cap a little bit, making larger houses more desirable. Another way to increase the buying of 125K+ houses would be to remove the ability to warp to a 40k team HQ, and only give it to the more expensive houses.

The last thing we need to do is lower the gold sink, especially for things like housing which can be paid for by a team.

Who wants houses in other towns besides frisco?

 

Just because you prefer the town, doesn't mean you can ignore the fact that there are plenty of empty 40k houses in WildWest. Riding the train won't kill you, there's no need to add more houses in Frisco. It's also not healthy to have most of the server population in one town.

I would definitely support the Frisco houses being more expensive than other towns as long as the WG meta lasts, 40k->50k, 125k->150k, etc. I would also support limiting the amount of time you can rent in advance, right now my personal house is paid for over 3 months.

If you really want a specific house, do what I did. Make a note of when rents expire, and be online to snag it. I had to wait about a month before someone let their rent lapse, but it happens fairly often. Right now there are 3 40k houses in Frisco with 6-8 days left before they expire, if no one renews them.

 

Back when it was more active, people bought all kinds of houses up to and including the mansions.

 

You don't downsize the server when its quiet, that's planning for failure. There are plenty of cheap houses not currently rented on Wildwest.

Yes and it is especially bad that most of the houses in Frisco are rented out by inactive people.
