Dueling system

There kinda already is

Although I like the concept.

 

This concept has been suggested quite a lot by a variety of different players within the Wild West community.

The League which there has been a thread about pretty much sums up this idea if I'm honest with you, and I think it is the closest we will get to a dueling system. I'd personally just get involved with the League to fight in fun 1v1s.

As you say, in the League you don't lose items so this isn't a good idea if you want to make loot through your fights.

 

I dont like it. People would only duel then.

This is why league is unhealthy for the server population, this idea would be even more so.

 

Yes, this idea will never be added, for the same reasons it will not be added into warz either. Having a constant ability to fight with no repercussions is not healthy to a player base.
The league is designed to allow people chances to fight fair fights and gives the benefits of a dueling system, but retains the player base because there are events that one must pay to enter with and all gear must be bought before hand. It also encourages players to play real wildwest gameplay because we always ask for a sheriff war and processing after each event. In fact, we keep them randomized in order to spike the player count at times when we would normally have none, and then do a long term event such as a peaceful process or process booster ect... in order that anyone new may be able to experience genuine gameplay.
The league is as far as we will go in terms of dueling.
