    Hello Brawlers,

    As you guys know, War 2.0 is out and there is a new clan system. The way I wanted the clan system to work was those in your clan will always be on your team. However, after seeing how OP a clan can be with 10 Mc-War veterans verse new players, this cannot be the case.

    I have changed clans so they no longer put clan members on the same team 100%. Instead, clans will be used to participate in future Mc-War tournaments we will be holding often on an official Mc-War match server (competitive bracket system for War essentially). You will only be able to participate in these tournaments if you're in a clan, so making clans and recruiting the best players will still be needed.

    This may upset some, but in order for the server to grow this needs to happen. Maybe if the server gets enough attention we can add back clans being on the same team, but until then it will remain removed.

    This is very important right now, but I don't think this will always be necessary.

    Until very recently there was only one clan (VIP) and games had one team full of VIP members, and one team full of randoms. When more clans have been made, this won't be much of an issue anymore. For the time being, this is definitely a good change though.

    Meh, I think you're being a little too fast with this. Most of what you said is true, but marcel is the only one with a clan so of course it will be OP. Once more clans are introduced, the game will balance itself out and the only clan wont be the OP one. I don't even know why marcel has a clan, since to get a clan you have to be lvl 25 and marcel had it maybe even before lvl 10. I heard Fista_Cupz gave it to him. (No hate for either dudes; great guys)

    I hope to see a change in this.

    Yeah it will most likely be a temporary change. I'm going to wait until more clans are created then we will see how it works out.

    So clans are useless now for 99% of the time.. Great. You shouldve waited until there were more clans to see how the balance was.

    I didn't want to take the chance of discouraging new players while we're doing all this advertising. You can still grow your clan and unlock cool cosmetics for it and try to have the best clan.

    Like I said, we will probably add this feature back once more clans are created.

    i'd rather have it like it is now (clans separated on both teams) or it'll be like legacy war where nobody stays for long periods of time because its 100 pros vs 100noobs

    It's a good change. Just after playing the first match with VIP is was very worried about new players and tried my best to switch teams. Sadly /switch is for donators only.
    I agree the clan is very strong and this had to be done. Don't worry, that's what all of us in VIP think.

    Better idea:
    Let every other clan be on the same team but the VIP clan.
    We really don't mind fighting each other but we still want to stay in the same clan.
    If that is somehow possible to do please do it.

    no it really wont.

    a BIG reason of why war died is because it was super unfair for new players and they would just get **** on by a clan with 20 good people on the other team

    it doesnt matter is theres another 20 person clan on their team, the new players still wont be able to get kills

    Even if there are no clans at all, 10 good players on both teams and the noobs will get crushed. That's simply how this mc-war works.
