Multiplayer Servers Mod Application:

Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? - I use my time wisely I guess you could say. On Weekdays I am very limited to how long I can stay on but I will get on for a good 2 hours (I check the forums and play on the server). On weekends I can play almost all day. Please note if any life events happen (Yes I do have a life ) I will have to be excused to attend these events.

What time zone are you in? - I am currently in the U.S Central TimeZone
What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - My friend and I were actually searching for a good game to play so we had something to do other than watching youtube videos and letting our brain's rot . I than got addicted to the game called Minecraft, currently in its early stage. Multiplayer was not an option at the time so we were stuck playing single player. Than, one day I was reading the update and it said: Added Multiplayer (Or something like that). The multiplayer mode was in beta but many people already had amazing servers up that you could play on. After that I never touched that Single Player button AGAIN! After a year or so, my friend showed me this cool "Gun server" (Called MC-War). We than started playing it and it became my first server I actually stayed with for a long time! I was very active on the forums and I actually applyed for mod (Unfortunately it was denied, I was not ready for the rank and I think it was a good thing that I was denied!). After that some very unfortunate life events were happening to me and I had to leave the servers for a bit. My parents were finding new jobs and they were all spread apart. We kept moving from state to state trying to find a good home and finally we moved into a state called Iowa were we settled down and continued our normal life's. I than purchased a brand new gaming computer and remembered that MC-War server. In fact you guys were the first server I ever added to my new computer! I than found the forums and became active with the forums again. I than found a message in one of the MC-War servers saying there was a beta for a game called MinecraftParty. I had no clue what it was so I decided to check it out. I fell in love and before you know it, the MinecraftParty server was at the top of my list! Than you guys made your amazing hub server which made life so much easier so than I only needed 1 ip to join all of the servers (Thank you so much!) . Well, here I am today applying to have a rank on this amazing server I have mentioned in the past sentences. Well, that is kinda my story and experience with minecraft.
What is your experience with moderating servers? - I was staff on several servers in the past (By several I mean 2 ). I did not personally like them and some staff seemed to be very immature at the wrong time. I felt I didn't belong there so I quit hoping to find a better server that I would actually enjoy! What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - I will get on every day answering questions and banning players that are breaking rules. You know, the real reason I decided to apply today was just yesterday there was this guy spamming and advertising... it made me so mad/sad because no staff were on to ban him or anything, he just sat there spamming this server's ip over and over again (I did report him)! I than thought, MinecraftParty doesn't really have many staff on there server. I thought I could help! I know servers like these don't need that many staff mainly because plugins can do the work but in all honesty, which is better? Machine or Human. Yes Machines can sometimes do things faster but don't they make mistakes? They can't correct everything considering that guy found a way around the anti-spam and anti-advertising stuff. In all honesty, I think the more staff on the servers the better so than the players can have real people that 1, answer questions for them. 2, stop players from spamming, and advertising. 3, just showing players that we DO care and that we have staff online here to help you at all times. I would help with all that assuring players there safety and fun on the MCBrawl community servers! I also would be on the forums helping players when needed! TeamSpeak is my biggest weakness but I still get on from time to time and would be willing to talk to players and help sort things out (Just like customer support lines ).

How active do you consider yourself in-game? - I try to play 1-2 hours on the weekdays. I play almost ALL DAY on the weekends (8:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m) I have seen staff in-game before and I have actually helped answer the player's question before the staff has time and it feels good when the staff says: Exactly what bman said.
How active do you consider yourself on TS3? - TeamSpeak scares me sometimes. I have had bad experiences from it considering on an old server
someone went on with the Username: bman and got me ban from the server even though it was not me! I do ignore this though and try to enjoy teamspeak how it is. I will get on when necessary but will mainly not be on unless I am really required to be on.
How active do you consider yourself on the forums? - I post a lot. I try to talk with players and get them to know/remember me so that I am not just "Some other guy browsing the forums". I have 200+ posts (I got 100 posts in less than a month). I know 200 is not a lot but like I said, I was offline the website for almost 6 months due to family events. We are now cozy in a nice home in Iowa and will not be moving for A LONG TIME!
What do you consider your greatest strength? -My greatest strength is being social while still being a funny guy. I know how to answer player's questions in a somewhat appealing way if you know what I mean. I try to make myself look like a nice guy (I am a nice guy) and I never would want to make another player be hurt or sad. When players talk about bullying on the forums and other places, I help them! When I am bullied or harassed on the forums, I ignore them! I guess that is another thing, I can control my "temper". I don't get angry or rage and I especially don't get angry or shout with other players. I try to use a calm voice when messaging players even if it is an annoying question or something random that has been resolved a MILLION times!
What do you consider your greatest weakness? - Online time. I know to some of you 2 hours on school days is a good amount of time but I see staff on much more than that! I feel that my online time is not the greatest but I am glad that I do HAVE time to get on unlike some unlucky people. I am not use to big servers with over 1,000 players. The most players on a server I have staffed for is probably around 100. But, each MinecraftParty server has around 30 players so I think I can handle it, wait let me try that again, I KNOW I CAN HANDLE IT!

How would you handle someone making a minor transgression for the first time? - Depending on the scale level (of how bad it was) I would warn them at first. Warning a player can sometimes be a good thing to do. Maybe someone did not read the rules (Even though they should), or they just did not notice what they are doing is wrong, I would accept that and warn them at first. Sometimes another chance is good. Other times, another chance is bad. So, when another chance is bad (For example: someone is spamming and advertising on the server) I would probably just ban him because who knows, maybe when I get offline he might start doing it again! It is just not something I would not want to risk.
How would you handle the same person doing it again a second time? - The second time a player has done this would probably be some sort of more strict punishment. I don't fully understand how you guys do it here, if you allow temp bans or if it is just an immediate ban but I would probably do a tempban if he/she is being rude to staff or players so he/she has time to correct what he/she is doing wrong. If it is more bad, like after I warn them for swearing they start spamming I might ban them and make them appeal on the website if they want back.
How would you handle that person doing it again for the third time? - If someone's tempban has expired (If you do this). If someone has appealed and it is accepted. If someone has purchased an unban from the store, I would watch them closely making sure that they are not doing anything wrong. These players already have a known record for being "bad" and I would make sure it does not happen anymore. If what has been happening before continues it would be an immediate ban. Although, this goes for everything above, I would always ask putty about the whole banning situation since everyone has their own opinion on how punishments work (I would not do this when someone is breaking the rules, I would do this if I get accepted as staff).

What is your reaction if someone publicly proves you wrong on the forums? - We all make mistakes from time to time. I would not get frustrated or agitated at the person. I would use that moment to help me. Now, if that question or situation ever appears again I will have the right answer. I would simply apologize for answering wrong and thank the person that corrected me. I would never, ever, ever, get mad or over react to something so simple. I will use it as advice and move on!
What would you do when someone breaks a rule on the forums? - The forums have a point system, 10 points and you are ban from the forums (Correct me if I am wrong). So I would keep track of these points and message putty when someone is exceeding the amount of points. I also would delete/lock inappropriate content and repeated threads about something. I would also personally send this player a private message warning them that what they did was violating our rules and that they might want to read those rules sometime! (I would send them a link to the rules for the forums)
When would you lock a thread? - I would lock it when the owner of the thread has requested it to be locked (Always making sure it is okay first). I would lock a thread with inappropriate content or stuff that should not be shown around our forums. Bad threads make us look bad and I don't want players to leave because of some immature players who did not read the forum rules. I would also lock repeated threads (For example: If there are 4 threads about the server being offline, I would lock any new ones by giving them a simple answer like: The server is down due to a server upgrade! and than I would lock the thread.

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player and situation is properly dealt with? - I don't know if I should answer this because I am not applying for MC-War but I will anyways. I would teleport them back warning them not do continue doing this, I would than take screenshots of the scene and upload it to bug reports (If no one else has already). If the player continues he would be ban since this would be against the rules.
Do you generally know how all the plugins and commands work? - I know you guys have custom plugins so I don't know them all but I know the basic ones like ban, kick, tempban, and mute.
Do you realize that if you are disrespectful or abuse your power, your power will be taken away? - Yes, no staff should ever do that as it makes the server look bad and a staff should not do something like this in general because they are the "Leaders" and other players look up to them as role modules!
