Spent alot of time on this, please try reading the most you can before your head hurts

So after nolifing the game for 24 hours over friday to sunday i have gotten close to 25 levels :L and I have learned many important things about playing objective.

What are objectives? Every gamemode has an objective to it which makes it different from the other one. In ctf you have to take the enemy flag and bring it back to your base for points. On domination you have to stand on certain areas to take control of a point to get more points. These are types of objectives that need to be played.

Why play objectives? Objectives are the MOST important thing if you want to level up quickly. I will say why you should play objective in every gamemode.

If you're on the winning team, you get double exp. This is HUGE for leveling up. I constantly get 1-2k games just because i play objective and i win alot of my games. I currently have around 130 MVP's which is DOUBLE the 2nd places MVP's. Usually when you have MVP it means you are on the winning team most of the time. MVP doesn't actually get extra exp if you get it, its just nice to have and shows how well you did.

Note: I will be comparing all the exp values to those that don't have a rank, so 15 exp per kill.

FFa: Get 30 kills for a win. this gives you 450x2 (win) which will give you 900 exp total. The win multiplier is super important and getting 29 kills takes away 465 exp

Gungame: Same for ffa, except you might get a couple more kills with knife kills.

OITC: Depends on your kill count, but the average winner has around 6 kills (unless camped the whole game) and to be fairly honest, MVP barely matters in this gamemode as you'll only get another 100-200 exp.

TDM: This is one of the gamemodes where you're free to go. You can kill without worrying about objective. At the end of the game, top fragger gets MVP

KC: Collect tags of enemies to collect points: Enemy tags give 6xp, whereas teammate tags give 3xp. After getting a kill, you can collect a tag for bonus exp. This helps your team in score. If you stay back and never get any tags, you might lose (unless your team is getting them) and you could go 30-5 but have 1-8 tags and lose. Very important if you want to win. My KDR is bad (imo) and it's because i make stupid decisions and smart decisions sometimes. If you see 2 tags laying on the ground and theres a guy watching them, if you're able to get them both it will be worth as instead of them getting 2 tags they'll only get 1, you'll get bonus exp and add 2 tags to your tag count. Player with the highest tag count gets MVP.

CTF: Grab the enemy team's flag and capture it. Flags are the best source of exp you can get. If you manage to grab the flag off the enemy flag, you will get 50 exp which is equal to a little more than 3 kills. If you capture it, you will get 100 exp extra. This is 150 exp in total, now this may not seem like much but heres the thing: 150 exp is equal to 10 kills. This also brings your team closer to the win and keep in mind the double exp. I've had a game where i've gone 0-0-0 and got 3 flag captures. I got 900 xp. I basically just got 30 kills worth of exp. The one with most caps gets MVP.

DOM: Stand on sectors and capture them to get points. Always go for the point that is near to you. Every team on every map has a point next to their spawn. This doesn't hurt to do and barely wastes time, you also get 75exp for a cap and a cap point. Imagine this 75 exp as getting 5 kills for free. Capturing points with teamates goes 2x faster than being alone. If you see your teammate on a point trying to capture it and you're beside him trying to protect him, go on the point. This will speed up the process of capturing by 2x and you get 75exp and a capture point. It is very important to defend these points as the win gives 2x exp as i have said a million times. I've had a game where i got 5 captures and just there gave me an extra free 375 exp equivalent to 25 kills. The one who has most point captures gets MVP

DEMO: Like in CS:GO you plant a bomb if you're on red team and try to hold it, if you're on blue you try to defend sites and defuse the bomb if planted. Red team: It is very important to find ways to plant the bomb behind cover by using smoke grenades or cover. Make sure you take out enemies that are looking at the bomb site and take out any close threats. Planting the bomb gives you 25 exp and if it blows up it gives you 100 extra exp. Theres an equivalent to 8 kills. Blue team: Make sure to find good camping spots to hold the sites and use cover to your advantage. Sit behind a wall if necessary and peek out only if you hear them planting (sound is very useful) or you can be in f5 mode. Just peak out and try killing the planter. Try not to get noticed. If they do notice you try your best to take the most of them out to make sure your teammates can clean up easily. Defusing a bomb gives you 50 exp (i think) which is a free 3 kills. Sometimes what i like to do, is if no one is around the enemy whos going to plant, i let him plant first, I kill him then i defuse to get that free 50xp. Sadly enough, MVP on DEMO is counted by kills so if you want MVP make sure to top frag.

Next up, i want to talk about destroying enemy turrets/airplanes. Taking these down will help your team and give you exp.

Turret: 60 exp, 4 free kills worth if you kill it.
Attack helicopter and Harrier: 120 exp, 8 free kills worth.
Chopper gunner and AC-130: 180 exp. 12 free kills worth.

Hopefully you read most of this, and hope this helps you understand objectives better.

IMO, the reason why no one plays the objective is because
    (a) They don't want to die (dying means losing their killstreaks)
    (b) The way COD/mc-war is made doesn't promote team play, but solo-survival
Because when you die, you lose all of your killstreaks so this tends to lead towards players not playing with teammates but only trying to live. That's why games like Overwatch are more popular on the killstreak part. Even if you aren't the best, you'll still be able to use your ultimate because Overwatch's abilities are cooldowns instead of earned ones. And the ultimates are progressive ones, instead of reward types, so even if you are bad, you'll at least get to use your strongest ability once.

I always try to get MVP in every game possible because I'm not the most effective player but getting MVP lets me know I played for the objective and not kills. Something I wish more people would do actually help their team and not be concerned about their KDR. Learn to take an L for your team.

It's good to play the objective, and I can see that you are obviously a team player. But most people won't play with their team since all they want is kills and trying to survive with killstreaks.
