    Remove the pig spawner under spawn, it makes getting food too trivial.

    No. The spawner is needed for new players to be able to gain any food, it'd be quite unfair to remove it.

    I agree with @SpookyGhale. It’s so new players don’t leave spawn and immediately die of hunger. If anything I’d like to see new players being given 16 steak and having a pig spawner underneath spawn as well.

    New player joins the server, new player leaves spawn and dies with all his food, new player has no food and quits.

    All been said above - Food is a key part of success, and for new players, without food, within a minute or two from leaving spawn, they are out of food, and may quit shortly after due to hunger. The commotion at the beginning of the map when the pig spawner didn't work clearly showed the need, and want for it.

    Without the pig spawner, it does make it a lot more hardcore and raid is meant to be hardcore right? I think it'd be fine if players get a certain about of food when they first join.

    Probably sarcasm but how many new players do you see anyway? Most people won't play a server where there are 1 or 2 teams dominating which have much more experience. Surely it'd be better to cater for the current regulars than the odd new player that joins and stays for half a day.

    New players can just start farms, just like we did in mcpvp.
    It's not that hard to get food, and it should be a bit of a challenge.

    It was a challenge even for me not to die to hunger when the pig spawner was not working at the start. I even died couple times to hunger.

    Considering that the server is on easy mode so hunger doesn't affect you after you only have 5 hearts left, that's pretty impressive.

    Yeah try to walk away from mobs while ur at 5 hearts and u cant run. Expect when u needed bout 20 mins to find 1 pig.
