    Hey Brawlers,

For Official Matches, we have certain guidelines to ensure ultimate fairness and competition.

    General Guidelines
    • Only TDM, CTF, KC, and DOM are playable for Official Matches.
    • Each Clan will have to provide at least 5 people for an Official Match. They may agree to increase that number. Each person has to be a member on their active roster.
    • Each Clan must have the owner or a representative (admin) at each match.
    • Matches will be played as a best of 5. Each Clan will pick one map/gamemode of their choice. It will go like this - (Clan 1, Clan 2, Random, Random, Random) If clans can agree with some maps/gamemodes you can substitute those with the randoms.

When playing competitively, we want clans to focus mainly on teamwork and communication. That being considered, we have disabled a few killstreaks and one perk from gameplay for Official Matches (this includes Seasons).

    Restrictions/Modifications
    • All guns are available for matches. Each clan may all use the same gun - there is complete freedom with this.
    • The Eavesdrop perk will be restricted. Some clans may have people who have to chat instead of using a mic, and having the disability of being able to use a mic shouldn't give you a disadvantage. Additionally, Steady Aim and Stopping Power have also been disabled.
    • Multiple killstreaks have been restricted. We removed them because we felt they would ruin strategic gameplay. The following have been restricted: Care package, sentry gun, attack helicopter, harrier strike, emergency airdrop, combat dogs, stealth bomber, ac-130, chopper gunner, and tactical nuke.
When scheduling a match you will have to follow a format and post a thread here. You have to...
    • Make the thread title as so: Clan 1 vs Clan 2. Title the match for the kind of match you're playing. It could be a scrimmage, official, or a seasonal match. For example, when I would schedule a match in a season the title would look like this : [Seasonal] GSG vs VIP
    • You will then make a header titled Match Information. Under this point, the general info will be put, such as Date/time, Match size (6v6, 8v8, etc.), and the referee. You only need a referee in official and seasonal matches, but can have one in scrimmages as well, if desired. You will then link this thread under this point as well (this constitutes the rules of the desired match).
    • You will then have a header titled Maps. Under this point, you will have the chosen maps in this format: Clan 1, Clan 2, Agreed, Agreed, random.
    Example:
    GSG - Favela CTF
    VIP - Carrier KC
    Agreed - Strikezone TDM
Agreed (if needed) - Summit CTF
Random (if needed) - will be randomized during the match.
    • After Maps, you will have a header titled Rosters. Under that, you'll have your clan name, with as many roster spots as the agreed match size, then you'll have your opponents clan name and roster spots. You may fill those in when you can, but they need to be decided by match time.
If we find something that needs to be modified/added, we will change the info as needed. Keep an eye out!

    Good luck! :pompous:

Why were the ac-130 chopper gunner harrier and helicopter removed? If you had good team coordination and strategy you would direct your team to all shoot at the air troop to take it down as fast as possible.

We felt as if they would be too op for matches with very small numbers of players. What you say is true, but while your team takes out the air stuff, the other team would get a significant advantage during that time. To get those killstreaks, someone will have to farm kills and camp, and we want people to achieve victory via organization and strategy.

There should not be any "agreement" to increase the amount of players per team. Each time should be even, and I feel it should be 6v6. 6 of the best players from each clan competing, chosen by the owner.

We are letting it vary because of timezones and availability of members. Some people could be available a certain week, and more the next. It all depends on what the two clan owners with their admins decide on. Also, if the six best players of each clan always get to play, some members will never get to play. We will see how it works at first, and go from there.
