    What programming language are Minecraft mods (specifically servers, like Brawl) usually coded in? I know the computer version of Minecraft is coded in Java, but I was wondering if mods are usually coded in Java too or in different programming languages like C++.

    mods are coded in java since the game is in java.

    Mods (you mentioned servers, so i'm assuming you mean plugins) are coded using the bukkit/spigot api which uses Java
