    This is pretty weird. Log out on the glass, don't log out top of the chest. Try that if it works

    Can't replicate this at all (tried with you) - Even did it on the same skybase and nothing went wrong.
    No idea what caused it - Mobs don't target loggers, explosions don't hurt them, lava doesn't, fall damage doesn't, they can't suffocate.
