Idea New Form Of Tracking?

No one would use obsidian, it would just make trackers too cheap but if it was to narrow 10 blocks instead of 100 it wouldn't be too bad

 

Emerald Blocks could have 125 reach/narrow. This would be convenient for temptracking but also for massive trackers.

 

Why fix something that is not broken.

 

Maybe it would track like 10 15 or 20

 

I think she is on to something because I had the same idea. But there is one problem... There is nothing as valuable as obby or iron blocks that is overly impossible or way to easy to get. It has to be proportional, like how there are 3 types of trackers. Cobble obby and stone, obby diamond and gold, and emerald iron and gold. It is proportional and fits the econimy. But if you added something else like prismarine or redstone it would make those prices in the shop skyrocket and people would buy out all of the redstone for cheap trackers. If you go into shop on raid redstone is literally dirt cheap so yes I think you are on to something but you have to have it planned out before they can change anything.

 

not counting that you can find redstone a lot underground. When redstone trackers are here that means the price of iron might go down and that might be good for people so they can buy it.

 

But then almost everyone will have a tracker and that makes it even more intimidating to go into your base. I'm not saying that's a bad thing though. But as I said it is equal balanced and using redstone will disrupt the price and balance.

Gold is hard to find and i doubt that people will pay gold for iron even if it is a lot of iron. I mean if your mining for gold your bound to already find a lot of iron. Just keep it the way it is unless they add a new block or something similar in the next uptade that is very hard to get but not too hard. More like time consuming.

 

It might be a lot of iron or gold but look on the bright side, lets say I track someone and I go to there. I realize that I have just ran into a p4 vault. I'm saying sometimes the iron is worth the raid. If you track a good one then it is.
On the other hand it is a pain getting raided 24/7 but dont stay at you base more than 15 seconds. Second make base protection use lava water cobblestone generator around ur base or use obby and pour lava around it.
