Idea Fisherman kit?

    Please make sure you include the following when suggesting kits:
    • Fisherman
    • Armor (and enchantments)Gold helmet, and the rest iron armor no enchants
    • Sharp 2 Diamond sword (just like melee)
    • Fishing Rod with unbreaking or make it unbreakable some how?
    • Credit Price Not sure but should not be that expensive.
    • Rank Restriction Anyone
    Keep in mind the following:
    • If you include potions or an already applied effect: Speed 1 infinate
    • If you include a horse: No horse
    • Sword, Rod, and the rest filled with soup
    • None
    Don't forget to specify enchantment levels.


    I know there might be some people out there who prefer to fight with a rod. :wink:

    Oh f**k no.

    Fisherman is damn OP in HG already. I don't want to join KitBrawl and deal with that damn sound (and the fact that PvP with a rod is very, very annoying) even more.
    There's very little way to balance Fisherman, I'd be for certain HG kits like the real Ninja or Anchor, but not this (no offence).

    Yes. That's my point. I'm not sure if you've ever played NoSoup (if you haven't, no offence), you can spam away as much as you want to with this rod since it's unbreakable. The kit's ability is just another buff there, that isn't important here. It's more this tryhardy rod-hit-run-rod-hit-run-rinse-repeat that I don't like. KitBrawl has enough balance issues without rods coming into the mix.

    Personally not a fan of rod pvp. I agree with Uranium that it can be very annoying to deal with.

    I never did say any ability just saying but, I would think some people would like to pvp with a rod on kit since it does require some sort of skill in it. It might even attract new players! Rod pvp has been out there for quite some time but maybe just a test run for the kit and if it doesn't get used than it can be removed. I see no issue with trying something new.


    As I stated above maybe just a test run and if people don't use it it can be removed! It can be annoying to be rodded away but most people who try and rod them away mess up and get killed. So it could also benefit you if the player is not experienced with a rod.

    I think yes... but that ruins my suggestion of another kit called snowman, where on kill you recieve snowballs.

    That doesn't quite ruin the kit you were going to suggest. You could tweak the armor and effects on it, it could become a holiday special kit! You never know.

    Yes it could add a new feeling in kit whereas you could learn or get better with a rod. I have seen two other soup pvp servers with a kit having a rod and thought about it. Why not add one to brawl and see what the community has to say about it.

    I prefer rod PvP over soup PvP, but when you mix the two, it really isn't much fun. I use rod and soup at the same time in HG and it's really not as good as just rod PvP or just soup PvP.
