What's wrong with the war MODs?

all the other staff need to get off their arses and actually respond to reports.

 

Why would you not post the name of a known cheater?
Plus, with a mode like War, it's pretty hard to tell if someone is cheating since there's usually a lot going on and a few weird kills could just be a streak of luck.
(also, did they remove nametags or something? I haven't played War in a while, but it seems to me that that'd be a pretty easy way to prefire someone)

Staff are just lazy asf. Banning a fly hacker requires no effort, but it's staff protocol to record xrayers. That's why no one wants to help. I don't think most of the MODs can even record.

If you want an xrayer banned I suggest contacting Raid staff since they deal with xrayers a lot (atleast I hope so). I agree though, it's ridiculous when the person we're talking about is xraying as blatant as a fly hacker. Pretty retarded but going the extra mile to record and upload seems like an impossible feat to most staff members. The best way is to record yourself, I would've already done so but I have no space lel.

 

@jelledk2000 Well, its was REALLY obvious,even if if you had half a brain you would still notice it, the ban was deserved.

What's hard for us is that our only indication of knowing if there's a UAV or not is the sound. We're working on an easier way to identify xrays, and giving us indication of a UAV is one of them.

And to add on to what's been said above - it's hard for us to record upload and ban. It can take up to 20-30 min to ban 1 Xrayer, just because proof can be hard to get.

I'll keep you guys updated with our progress on anti-cheat and Xray detecting

 

if people on war are getting banned for X-ray why the **** has it not happened on warz within the last 4 years

 

like any of you would do anything about it if you were staff... trying to prove xrayers is really difficult for pretty obvious reasons

just watch them a **** ton in vanish, if the player is constantly seeing people through walls on warz/war it's blatant they're either using f3a or X-ray. either one should be bannable tbh considering they're essentially both the same thing except one of them is built in to the game

should be more difficult on war though considering UAVs but I don't see why it hasn't happened on warz yet, literally took trogs like 10 min to ban some dude for x-ray but in the end that player decided to blink right as trogs was about to ban him so he just put that as the ban reason
