So I have a laptop. HP x360 view with an i7 but I'm still like laggy af at times. I know that this model has a graphic chip but I want to see if its possible to add a graphic card and or if needed like an adapter?
I don't really know, I'm not familiar with this kind of stuff :/

    So basically:
-Is it possible to add a graphics card to my laptop ( http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-envy-laptop-x360-15t-2gj44av-1 , not the exact model as in the link, probably 2 or 3 years older)
-If yes what would I need

    thank you!!

I think it is but it’s not easy as a PC.

I will look it up and tell you soon.

Your laptop uses the integrated graphic chip of the Intel processor, so it is highly unlikely that there is a spare PCIe slot with space for a graphics card, especially considering that it is a convertible. Not to mention it doesn't have the cooling capabilities and it is almost impossible to buy spare mobile GPUs. Laptop graphics are not meant to be upgraded.

The only option is therefore an external GPU cabinet; I'm not sure however if that works with the USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports on your laptop - most only work with Thunderbolt 3.

In conclusion, the best way is a desktop PC.

desktop in general is better. Less of an hassle with upgrading things, since you don't need to send the computer to the company, unless you have a prebuilt PC. As @Lord_Roke said since you are using integrated there is a pretty high chance you can't add another GeForce GPU
