    This is a known bug, but no one has posted it here yet. If you attempt to enter a boat you will get thrown out instantly. It has been like this for a while, and I'm sure that it's bugging a lot of people.

    This is to do with the anticheat and I don't believe there is a way to fix this.

    I could depent on your version, mods, or where you enter the boat. I was just able to enter one on 1.10 (no mods) along a river.
