    I move through the trash around me.
    Endless trash,
    overwhelming trash.

    Do I feel the grime anymore?
    Who knows and who cares?

    I keep going up.

    Around me voices speak filth.
    "Loser"
    "dramatic"
    "filth"
    I push them away.

    Going up.

    I am not the filth that surrounds me.
    I am not to be buried.
    I will continue.
    Continue to climb.

    I keep climbing,
    climbing....
    climbing.

    Suddenly I see sunlight ahead.
    It's harsh, but sweet.
    Around me, trash continues for miles, but I don't care.

    I keep climbing.
