    This is another problem with the server.

    Most people currently carry multiple sets, things that allow kiting to be extremely easy, however it gets to the point where the enemies are able to play well enough to stop your kiting ability and they deserve your items for that skill. But this is where /kill comes in, all it requires is a trustworthy friend and a keyboard, it's stupidly easy and it's as good as an unfair advantage, it's just not fair.

    I've come up with some solutions (not including the ones suggested by @Carnotauros a year ago) which are, make ./kill have a timer. This means it has a timer of around 5 seconds of not moving or being hit and allows the enemy to catch up to you and also does not completely destroy the concept of what /kill is actually used for (regaining hp, food, ect).

    My second solution would be to make it impossible to /kill in spawn, and yes I know it's just more work for the developers, but if they care about the server in the slightest, they'd put in the work to fix this.

    Third solution is simple. Completely remove the command. Hardly anyone uses it except to regain hp, food but there are other ways to kill yourself (no ban pls).

    Anyways those are my ideas, feel free to leave criticism or your ideas on it, whether its a good idea or not.

    I don't think there should be any changes on /kill. There is other and better solution in my opinion. I remember that in mcpvp if you jump out of spawn, you are not able to get back without doing /spawn. I get your point with people doing /kill to save their stuff, very annoying.

    Just like team warps being set during fights it ruins alot of often fair fights

    I have seen this a few times, where someone is running from people and go to spawn and have a teamate /kill so they can get their stuff back. It has happened about 2 times to me during this week alone and in all honesty it can be annoying. When you chase down someone to their loot if you need it or not, you earned it. I don't like loosing out on some iron armor that I could repair other pieces with and use for iron 1v1s. Also It happens during koth at times when someone is fleeing and get to spawn with a teamate with nothing in their inventory to save their almost broken p4 and sword.

    A timer / combat tag for it would be nice. I know noobs find it useful when their hunger gets depleted to making it impossible might affect them a little more than it should. I def agree that this is an issue that needs attention though. It's insanely unfair for people to do this. Another solution could be to just raise spawn by a couple blocks (but make it look good) so people couldn't run back in.

    They already tried raising spawn by few blocks and everybody didn't like it, people liked running about in spawn instead of just the outside.

    Hmm I guess. It would definitely be the easiest solution to add though. I feel like it could be better if it actually was designed into the spawn

    I think a change to /kill should be done because of the amount of noobs who are new to the server, mine for a couple of hours and then come to spawn to show off their loots. They then get tricked into pulling the classic /kill. Sad times for them and we never see them again.

    I just found it amusing that a sub member didn't want their /kill on a team mate tactic removed with a bs excuse
    And don't get such a big ego, I don't mention sub in most of my posts:stuck_out_tongue:

    Brought up with the staff team. We’re actively discussing and coming up with solutions to this problem and actually have some plans already. So hopefully this should be fixed soon.
