Let’s face it, there’s little hope for warz... but there are things Brawl could do to bring back old players and to entice new ones... heres a quick list of my ideas for reviving WarZ and Brawl.

    1. Referral System.
    Use. /refer <player name>
Can by used by any player who hasn’t joined brawl since the bans/stats reset last year.

This could be used by new players when they are first joining brawl. If they use /refer <name of player who reccomended the server to them>, it gives themselves and the player they refer (the player who brought them to the server) global MVP for 4 days. Players can only use /refer once, but the command could be used to benefit the same player who referred them multiple times. For example, if player Toast invites two separate players to brawl or WarZ, they could both use /refer Toast to give Toast a total of 8 days. However, the players cannot ever use the command /refer again to benefit any other players.

The goal of this would be to encourage players to invite friends and other people they know to join brawl. It COULD be exploited, but brawl could probably use an IP check to make sure people are not using alts to get free ranks.

    2. Daily booster system.

Each day of the week, there would automatically be a booster applied to a random WarZ server (1-4) for an amount of time. For example, Mon-fri, 5-7pm CST each day, two random boosters would be selected. On weekends, the booster could last twice as long. The goal of this would be to encourage players to play at certain times each day, and reward them for doing so. Because WarZ is a very hard game to learn, and often involves wasting hours looting only to die to someone better than you, adding boosters each day would make it a more noob friendly game. Plus, I’m pretty sure boosters are currently not bought too often.

    3. Daily reward system.
    Use: /dailyreward
What it does: Can be used once per day, and it gives a player a random piece of rare loot, like a Barrett with ammo, or piece of diamond armor, or a stack of food.

This would be a program to encourage players to at least log in each day, and would reward players who consistantly play.

    4. Bring in youtubers.

Sponsor youtubers to play and make videos on WarZ and other brawl servers. It would require spending money on paying the youtubers, but you would profit once people start playing and purchase ranks/boosters.

To finish this, yes, I do realize that Brawl will probably not even bother to view this thread, but at least I tried.

Cue peoeple saying “it’s already dead, don’t bother”

    Alright, so here's my opinion.
    1. Love this idea. Just there would have to be a system in place to enforce the 1 referral per ip. Also, the number of MVP days per referral should be decreased, just so that this doesn't replace actually purchasing a rank.
    2. Boosters during the week could be a good idea. However, I believe that there should be two boosters each day (one for EU and one for NA) and each booster should only last ~30 minutes, if that. This way there is an insentive for people to get on but it doesn't replace buying boosters. Also, for goodness sake please reduce the price of boosters. Nearly no one wants to fork out $10 on a rare loot and double loot booster for 1 hour when they could buy MVP for the same price. More booster bought at a lower price gives Brawl more profit than nearly no boosters at a higher profit.
    3. Good idea. Imo it would be better if there was a scalable rewards system. The more days in a row you log on the better your reward would be. This would encourage players even more to log on each day in the hopes of eventually receiving good gear. This would also serve as an outlet for newer player to receive better gear even without them having very much experience.
    4. Sadly, this just isn't an option. Aside from any monetary issues, there is no point in advertising WarZ. It has a massive skill gap where the new players don't understand the game. And it's not abundantly clear that you're able to combo the guns until you become very familiar with the game. Any of Brawl's resources would be better spent going into supporting gamemodes that are more friendly to new players and have fresher gameplay.

And even if it is dead, there are still small things that can be done to help it. I know that editing the booster prices is not a massive task, and I also know for a fact that decreasing the price will be better for both the players and the server.

I love the idea of a referral system. Many of today's most popular games have that system in place and it really helps with keeping good playercounts.
