weather in WW?

    i know this hasn’t been talked about in over a year, but with the fairly recent implementation of day/night cycle i thought it would also be cool to weather. in harshaw and amarillo it would seldomly rain or not at all, in ellesworth and shaniko it would occasionally rain, and in frisco it would snow. just a couple of thoughts that i’m sure other people have come across in their minds while playing WW.

    I brought this forth a long time ago. I feared it could cause lag. Also, in order to get accurate weather in the right locations, the biome of the entire map would have to be reprogrammed, and the accurate biomes would have to be set for matching locations, which I imagine will be tedious and difficult. The entire map is a mesa biome, by the way.

    Problem is people can just disable rain and stuff which makes weather pointless.
    My suggestion for weather in general is to leave it be and add it as a custom option in a resourcepack.

    adding weather will bring back the old days :grinning:
    The old days of 15% gamespeed :V

    Good idea though, it would be pretty cool if they had like thunderstorms and stuff. Lighting hitting players while they fought. That would be sick af.
    Maybe the devs can find a way to do it without cutting the gamespeed down by 70% :-:
