    3 years ago, on this very day, the once-biggest server with over 4.5 million unique players was shut down and large parts of its network transferred to Brawl.
    Shame to see it go, and I think a lot of people miss the mad chaos that it gave us.

    Erm actually it shut down on the 21st of May, but the announcement that it was shutting down was posted on the 17th of May.

    I like the members, Brawl just spent way too much money and committed too much capital towards McPvP and the retention rates of McPvP players was not high.

    Chaploo spent too much money on McPvP due to sentimental and other reasons. Chap had never been an active owner of brawl and handed the reigns to Putty and had him do pretty much everything while Chap made the money.
