Idea build 2.0

    there should be build 2.0, where there could be bigger maps, build ranks, (like a progressive system where staff have to check your builds to see if they're worthy and you level up each time and earn more stuff), and have a later version of the game

    This thread doesn't really introduce any new ideas. "Bigger maps" are already possible to do (even JMods used to have access to a command that would let them make a map of an infinite size) - the reason the maps are the size they are is so that players have limited space to build before they have to buy a new map. And, considering the maps are 512x512, considerably larger than almost any other plot server's plots, we're not being too stingy there.

    Build ranks would be interesting but this thread doesn't really have that much detail on them. Would these ranks be a purely cosmetic thing made to encourage people to build more and try and get the highest rank? Or would they be so that players who are good enough at building can get less WE restrictions like the ranks did on Creative (IIRC)?

    As for having a later version of the game: everyone wants this, but it will take a huge amount of effort to make Brawl have 1.12. We'll need to essentially revamp every single gamemode on the network as our backend cannot support multiple versions like this. It's not impossible to do, but it'd be a lot of dev time so y'all better be appreciative if it ever does happen >:L

    I wouldnt mind there being a bigger map since the map rn i think i currently 500 by 500. its could give me more practice

    a tip is listen to your community and give them what they want, i'm not trying to come out rude here but it's the truth. if you want to have a larger player base make the server feel more appealing to everyone else. same old build in 1.8 is honestly really boring and limiting people who want creative, when they could just go to other servers with 1.12 and not have to worry about only using 1.8 blocks. if anything, having the server still be 1.8 makes creative players go the other direction to other servers, as i just stated
