7 Second teleport rule

Should the timer for the 7second rule be reset back to 120 seconds after it gets cancelled?

    So I see a lot of people complaining about this new 7 second rule, in my opinion the new rule balances out the play so people who are bad at this game can't tpa out of the nether to their friends. However I think ( and I believe most of you will agree with me here ) that if you even move 1 block during the 7 second waiting period, the tpa gets cancelled AND you have to wait another 120 seconds.. I think it would be fair if we made it so that the tpa wouldn't get set back another 120 seconds - you would just have to wait the 7seconds again. I'll add a poll to see if anyone agrees with me but I must say I'm perfectly contempt with the rule we have now :3.
