HG has dozens upon dozens of kits that are sorted by their first letters in any given kit guide. This needs to be revamped in my view - with kit classes. Keep in mind that some kits will fit multiple categories.
    • "Hunter" kits, "hunting" kits - kits that give you a direct advantage in a fighting scenario or have a direct effect on a battle. Think kits such as Viper/Snail/Cannibal/Reaper, Fireman, Magma, Anchor, Achilles, Fisherman and the like.
    • "Trapper" kits, "trap" kits - kits such as Fisherman, Demoman, Kaya, Launcher, Endermage, Switcher, kits that can be used to imprison, teleport, or otherwise force other players into dangerous and potentially fatal situations.
    • "Tower" kits, "towering" kits - kits such as Archer, Endermage, Lumberjack, Worm, Stomper, Launcher, and other kits that can be used on a high platform (a tower) to give yourself the best advantage other others from this heightened position.
    • "Mobility" kits - Kangaroo, Scout, Grappler, Phantom, Flash, Blink, anything that makes you move more quickly than a non-mobility kit.
    • "Utility" kits - kits that don't give you a direct advantage during a fight but can help you improve the odds, for instance Miner, Forger, Hermit, Specialist, or kits such as Neo.
    • And finally, the most important category - anti-teaming kits. The main ones here are Gladiator, Madman, and Tank, but other kits could be added here in the foreseeable future.
"BUT SAM WHAT POINT ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE"
Chill, ok, because here we go.
Now, as I mentioned in my main update thread several times, lots of kits need reworks and many need a complete rework.
So where does this leave the kit rotation?
Basically what I'd love to see is 1-2 kits per kit class being free every 2 weeks. This was already sort-of the case back in the day but it often included a bunch of the more useless kits. With this defined class selection process one could also upgrade the system for ranks - ranks could select a class that they'd like a random kit from, with VIP having 3, MVP having 8, and Elite obviously having all kits.

+1, encourages playstyles that aren't hunting/pvp, mitigates the high skill curve while keeping pvpers happy
