Idea Tomahawk Nerf

    Hey guys so let's talk about the tomahawk. In the current state of the game, I think the Tomahawk is too strong. This thread is to show you why I think it is too strong and my idea to nerf it. Also I would like to hear everyone's opinion on the current and my nerfed version of it.
    Currently, when you hold the tomahawk there is short delay and after that you can just shoot it whenever while holding. This makes it very easy to start to hold it, come around the corner and just throw it at an enemy and they die and have no way to counter. (as long as you don't miss of course, but I don't find it that hard to do especially at close range) I find this a bit too strong and my idea to nerf it is to add Slowness while holding it. This I think will greatly reduce the effectiveness of it in aggressive scenarios as there is currently no penalty running and holding it.
    Alright that's it for my idea, I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions. If anything doesn't make sense I'll be glad to explain more in-depth.

    I personally don't think that it needs to be nerfed. A problem that I see happening with slowness is that the tomahawk will become utterly unusable in conjunction with the already existing delay nerf. You're not going to be pull it out in the middle of a gun fight due to the delay before throwing(unless the enemy sucks at aiming), and if it reduces your movement speed, and the slowness will make it impossible to come out of a corner with it. This eliminates most situations where a tomahawk would be useful, besides randomly throwing it into the sky hoping for a kill. There's no delay in real COD between the time of hitting the button and being able to throw, but you can't run while aiming the tomahawk(might be wrong about this one, vaguely remember MW3). Brawl currently has the reverse. One or the other has to happen to keep it usable, but not OP. "Or" meaning that both nerfs will make it just not worth carrying around. Everyone will just switch to C4 and then people will whine about nerfing that. I personally use C4, so there's zero bias here. This is just my opinion.

    I personally don’t feel like this nerf is necesarry to be honest I barely get killed by a tomahawk. Adding slowness would first of all not make sense because a tomahawk is lighter than most guns but in real cod this wasn’t the case either.

    So to maybe nerf it, if needed, we could add like a 1.0 second delay before you can throw it (and I mean that if you right click it takes 0.5 seconds or 1 second) this way players can counter it but still lose the fight easily if they don’t act quick enough

    In CoD you can't run while holding tomahawk.

    I don't think tomahawks need a nerf right now, since most players stop using it after reaching a higher level and getting better at the game. But not being able to sprint with it in hand does sound like a pretty cool idea.
