Idea Accuracy Bug (Stats)

Sniper headshots don't seem to count since they kill in one shot. Been like this since the start unfortunately. They don't add up to headshots either.

I was going to do a thread a looong time ago about this, but was too lazy. Here's what I had done before I gave up:

I have a theory that OSK headshots do not contribute to headshots and thus do not contribute to accuracy. I use snipers almost every game, and atleast 70% of my sniper shots hit. Also 90% of my hits with snipers are headshots.

So lets say I have a 70% accuracy. Of course I use a secondary too and it's easier to miss with that, thus lets downgrade accuracy to 60%. Then lets include other gamemodes (GG, FFA and INF) where I use other guns. In INF and FFA I use ACR so it's easier to miss so lets downgrade accuracy to 40%. Finally GG (gungame) would lower my accuracy to like 30%.

In conclusion I should have around 20-30% accuracy. (20% because I'm not consistent and games vary.) Well, do I have 20-30% accuracy? No. I have currently 3.7% accuracy.

Currently I have only 569 headshots which is a ridiculously low amount since I have 30k kills and I get atleast 20 headshots per game. So basically OSK headshots don't seem to count as headshots and thus contribute negatively to accuracy.

I did a test by using automatics and shotguns for a day and the results were quite interesting. After using a shotgun for one game, my accuracy went up from 2.1% to 3.6%

 

I didn't know anything about this D: Would consider myself a primary sniper most days but my accuracy is god awful and keeps going down and I never knew why. I guess this can't be fixed since its been in the game since the start?

 

There is a problem with the accuracy, I'm not certain what it is but the sniper headshot theory is valid because I also have low headshots and almost only use sniper. Seems like there is no point to not fixing it seeing as it's kind of a bug so I'll try to get it fixed ASAP.
