An Old Wise-Man's Tale

5 Years Ago. Not that long ago yet it feels like an eternity.

5 Years Ago, I was playing WarZ without a worry in the world. Homework? No I didn't care for that. School? Just an obstacle to get through before the real fun began.

I logged onto my skypes today for the first time in years since my switch to discord.

To be Frank, I've got the memory of a 3 year old that has ADHD and early-onset Alzheimer's disease.

I've met countless of the people who I once called friends, right on here. On Brawl. I've met many good men and women alike; and met just as many of the opposite.

What is sadder; The fact an adult returns here, or the fact the same adult has nothing better to do?

A handful of people I knew (names not included) have all moved on.
I know of two that have already married + gotten kids. I know of a few more that are already through college and making a killing.

And I have all but moved on. Occasional revisits to this site have proven that to me and I will not be in denial of such a thing. The Nostalgia hits hard.

Cherish every moment you all have. Every laugh with your friends. Every moment. Because later on, when you too have all grown up; you may find that it isn't as fun as those times you've had with your friends. You may find that you wish to experience those times again, and you may try. But without those friends, you may find it different, or at least difficult. And when you are the only one who hasn't moved on, it may be hard to find an understanding companion in those difficult times.
