.-. The "Flame Bow" .-.

It's a mobile molotov.
To me it is pretty useful since you can set people on fire from a distance.
That is really its only purpose.

 

I like your idea of a bow. I just use the flame bow against zombies. But I do agree, it seriously needs to get a buff.

 

Your argument is that the flame bow is not realistic.
You do realize that you have things like golden apples in WarZ that aren't realistic either, right?

But seriously, the flame bow needs a change.

 

Or potentially kill yourself cause of a stupid zombie that you shot 2 secs and charges you by setting you on fire

A flame bow is pretty cool. I like the fact that it sets people and fire from long range and besides, since when was WarZ realistic.

I'd prefer to have a molotov if i'm doing a larger fight say somewhere in the nether, with barb, etc. Flame bow I normally don't ever use, maybe like once or twice i'll use it to tag a runner, but other than that I don't see a point of wasting sniper ammo when it could be used to one shot.

And in regards to your idea of the "hunters crossbow", that's damned insane. 1 heart every second? 4 hearts penetrating armor? Jesus... so basically you could do a crossbow spas/barret crossbow and do better?

The flame bow is fun man. Don't deny it. It's as fun as the flamethrower is Mc-War.

But in case you didn't know, the Mcbrawl servers don't take to kindly to powerful flame weapons. It'd be great if the flame bow was made more powerful. It needs the buff. (So does the flamethrower tbh)

 

I find it pretty useful when you fight humans since it is very hard to aim at someone when you are on fire.

 

Flame Bows Main Purpose: Prevent Loggers. From a long distance, it is sometimes hard to hit a moving target that can/will potentially log. With the flame bow, it's splash damage will keep them in combat long enough to catch up to them.

I do like your idea of a Hunters Crossbow better. It definitely adds more realism, especially with the excessive bleeding touch. I would definitely use this weapon more often if this were to be implemented. Great idea!

Can't agree. I like the flame bow as is. If you don't like it, you're using it wrong. I suggest you use it by shooting people who are retreating/fleeing from you or if you think someone is going to combat log. Those are the best uses, and therefore- I like the flame bow. Because I HAVE to use it daily.

The worst part: IT DOES NO BASE DAMAGE!!
S if you don't have a sniper but a zombie is chasing you hop into water and let the zombie follow! Then, spam the hack out of your sniper bullets and do nothing but look like a noob. This has actually happened to my brother on warz once. He must have wasted like 20 ammo on that thing.

 

Its more a utility tool, than a means for actual combat.

 

Flame Bow is a tool used for tactical support, not assault. You don't just run into a fight spamming Flame Bow, you have other weapons instead. Flame Bow is good for blinding people or wounding them and then you finish them off. Personally, I find Flame Bow quite useful in combat.
