Whats the difference between a hero and a bandit?

It's a recognition and trust thing. If you're a Hero, then you will be more widely known and respected.

 

Not much tho, except that a bandit's humanity is much lower than a hero's. A hero can still very much be an enemy who wants to kill you, but doesn't see that much action.

 

Heroes have blue names, and can be achieved by killing zombies/healing teammates
Bandits have red names, and can be achieved by killing a lot of players.

 

There is actually a "myth" that Heros can take less damage and bandits deal more damage. Honestly I don't believe it, but some people do.

Hero, (+5000 Humanity)trusted, Doesn't kill other hero's or civilians (wight name) and helps people out , (myth higher the humanity you have the more dmg you do...) (becomes hero when heals people, kill's bandits and kills zombies)

civilian ( -2000_+4999) Survivor, can kill anyone, but this is the stage weather yo become a hero or bandit. Mostly means your new... (become civilian when you join new, or have a neutral humanity lvl)

Bandit (-2000 humanity) Kill's everyone, hero civ or other bandits, they mostly kill on sight, Not trusted. And kill on sight for Hero's. (become bandits when killing hero, and civilians.)

To raise you humanity kill zombies, Bandits and heal others with blood bags , bones and bandages.

Honestly, is a playstyle/lifestyle decision.
Heroes must be much more choosing of their engagements, they must be more resourceful in combat. Minding not only their surroundings, but their humanity as well. It can be extremely difficult to balence fighting players, and making sure that their humanity never dips below 5,000.

Bandits, can choose to be ruthless, conniving, and treacherous, because nothing can ever shake their, immoral foundation. Not time, space, or God.

There are NO bonus to either class, and no stat buffs/nerfs either.

I was once betrayed by a hero. I set out to become one. To let the light shine among others, and save them. Retribution, justice, salvation.
I attained such a position. I saved others, I gave out rations, I was a savior. Until, one day, I saw. The true nature of darkness that rested within everyone. That you cannot simply let a new spawn go, because he will do whatever he can to come back and try to kill you. Because of this truth, I rested my heroic garb, I dawned my bandanna. I set out, to embrace the darkness. I am now a dark hero. A bandit, with a conscience. I will kill everyone, anywhere. Without reason. And, yet. I will help those whom I deem fit.

The choice is yours. Salvation / Damnation / or Repenance

But yeah you do not get any buffs or bonuses for becoming either classes.
Its purely a reputation thing

 

Bandits are more likely to attack you, have red names, and not likely to be friendly to you. :L

Heroes are much more likely to not attack you, have a blue name, and will give you items, guns, and defend you from zombies.

 

There's pretty much no difference, except for that bandits are more likely to attack you.

 

I used to be a Hero, kinda gave it up and went solo slaughtering people, as a Hero there really isn't a difference, you still kill people at a average rate it's just you're teaming more and healing teammates constantly.

 

a hero is a badass like me, with somewhere around 2.8 million humanity points.

 

If a hero finds another hero in the world, it would be very rare for them to fight each other. Of a bandit and a hero meet, a battle will usually take place. I have positive humanity, so I am a hero. I have run into TONS of heroes, and numerous times the heroes ask to trade supplies with me, to my surprise. I asked them what if I was a bandit, and they said they would kill me. Being a hero is actually pretty cool, it can help you out in the long run. So heroes are friendly usually, and bandits will most likely kill you on sight.

 

If you see a bandit, then run.
If you see a hero, then its up to you to decide what to do.

 

Im a bandit and will kill everyone I see I never use blood bags and never will.

 

Not necessarily respected, or widely known, but that you kill bandits, or zombies. A LOT

 

From playing mc-warz since April I learned even if someone is a hero they will kill you and if someone is a bandit they will kill you. In the game dayz Heros are really Heros but not in mc-warz. Almost everyone is a bandit :/

 

well it really doesnt mean that much to be a hero or bandit because, personally I kill EVERYBODY i see on sight no matter what, unless we've skyped teamed.( even then i may kill them) I also espeically love to kill other heroes, but i still have 2,800,000 humanity from killing other heroes and taking their bloodbags to use on friends.

 

Being a hero doesn't help.
You need to kill everyone on sight because they're gonna kill you.
