Should villager/pigman spawner changing stay the same in map 6?

As we all know, the map will reset in less than two weeks. Resets give the admins an opportunity to rebalance the rules of Raid, given the lessons of the prior map. A decision has been made to disable the creation of pigman and villager spawners. I disagree with this decision as I don’t see that these spawners significantly impacted gameplay, and the data backs up this assertion.

With pigman spawners, I expected (and saw at the beginning) inflation creeping into the economy from the influx of gold. I didn’t use them myself for gold farming (I let others use them while I collected the flesh), and 90% of my balance is through the shop. However, what ended up happening to these farms was predictable: most of them were tracked (I only know of one that survived) and destroyed. These take a significant amount of effort to create, and require a player to afk and risk being tracked. Also the low return on the time invested, as well as the risk of losing the farm, made them bad ‘investments’. And finally, at the end of the map, we can look back and see how much inflation has happened and at most, prices are only 50% higher now then they were at the end of Map 4. This aligns with my end of map balance (50k last map vs. 75k this map). This isn’t runaway inflation by any means, and based on the data I don’t see a need to remove pigman spawners.

Villager spawners also shouldn’t be removed because of similar reasons; I had access to several of them (including an OP tracker-resistant design). I saw these also get raided (sometimes within an hour of being created @Twhat ) and again, these are also risky investments of time. The benefit of these, however, was it allowed players to considerably reduce effort and grinding to get enchanted items. It was easy to take rotten flesh or string from a vanilla spawner, trade with a villager for xp and emeralds, and then buy enchanted books or items. I frequently would buy or get villager tradeables and then trade up to Unbr3 or Prot4 books; players hit me up a lot for these books since it’s far easier to buy from me than grind up and get a set.

TLDR, and in conclusion- Spawner changing shouldn’t be changed from map 5 rules (specifically pigman and villager spawners). Inflation was present but weak from the pigman spawners, and villager spawners allowed players to focus on PVP and not grinding.
