    What is your in-game name?

    Gould_

Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated?

Yes, my Minecraft account is secured and migrated.

    How old are you?

    I am 16 years old.

What time zone are you in?

I am in CST (Central Standard Time, UTC-6)

Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages?

I am not completely multilingual, but I can speak a considerable amount of Mandarin, Spanish, French, Hebrew, and of course English.

What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl?

I have been a brawl member for over 6 years now, and throughout my time on Brawl, I have been through most of brawls biggest updates, events, and most important moments. As a brawl member, I have learned to love the community as I have met great friends, and others which have been friendly rivals. My experience of Brawl only starts there. Over my 6 years, I have learned in depth of almost all of the game modes on Brawl, and almost all of the past game modes that have since been removed in the past. The big ones that stand out being War-Z, CTF, and Party have been my favorites, and still are over my journey playing on this server. From having all this experience, I am able to explain all the game modes in depth, as I feel this is an important thing to be able to do as a person who moderates on them, and is supposed to be fit to help the community, and be able to engage the player base, as well as make it more interesting for more players to join as well. As a Minecraft player as well, I have lots of experience in the game, and I am able to identify what is possible in Minecraft and what is not. For example, I know when players are doing something for example using aimbot, and I can notice when someone is doing something that is fishy, so I know when to pay closer attention on certain players, and be able to identify when someone is hacking.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any?

Throughout my journey as a Minecraft player, I have had the experience of moderating on quite a few servers, some small, and some big, but all of them withholding experiences that you can only acquire from moderating servers, and that you will want to keep with you all your life. As a moderator, I have worked with banning hackers, helping out players, and giving input into the community to help it grow as a whole. Some examples of the servers I have been staff on are:

    MunchyMC
MunchyMC is a server that averages 150-250 players on the weekdays, and it is was a great server to be a part of. While on the MunchyMC Staff Team, I started as a helper, and made my way up the ranks to Moderator, and helped the server until I decided that I was not interested in being staff on that server anymore, and I resigned.

    DeadCentral
I was also a staff member on a server named DeadCentral. DeadCentral was a practice server for WarZ which included its own rendition of the game mode, as well as a practice Kitpvp version of it. While being staff on the server, It averaged 0-45 players depending on what time it was, during updates it would be at a few rows in tab, and during bad times it would have 0-2 players on it. I was an SMod on the server, and I was until I resigned on it because my computer broke, and I was not able to fix it, so I decided I would just leave the team as I would not be able to participate on staffing for a while.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl?

The main reason that I would like to become a moderator on Brawl is to help out the community, and to try to revive some of it's most unique games such as War, WarZ, and a few others, but I hope to be able to help on all the servers that are currently up. This is one of my main goals as I do not want to see the player base completely die out, and I would like to help contribute to the player base possibly increasing in the future. As a moderator on Brawl, I would want to help newer players to get them on a good start. A good example of this that I have seen another player doing recently is Yupper. Although he is not on the same timezone as I am, whenever I have seen him on he has been friendly, helpful, and has been helping new players that ask him for help. Since I have met him, I have tried to strive to become just as helpful, nice, and friendly as he is. This has made me enjoy playing WarZ more as I know that I am making someone's day, and I feel as if being a moderator on Brawl will help me accomplish that task more easily.

Have you ever used a hacked client before?

I have in fact used a hacked client before. Mostly testing them on single player worlds, back in 2013 I did use a client once on Skycade. I do not regret these actions as I was much younger, but I also have acquired some experience with them, and it helps me whenever I try to spot hackers.

Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why?

2-3 years ago, I received a one hour mute on MunchyMC. I believe it was for spamming, although I am not 100% certain about the reasoning of it.

    Punishments (on brawl)

What do you consider your greatest strength?

I would definitely consider my greatest strength to be my ability to stay calm, and conserved. As a staff member, you need to be able to stay calm, and even if I die to a hacker, or someone is flaming me in chat, I am able to stay calm and collected, so I can make a smart response that will not be rude, and hopefully will be a resolution to the argument. As staff on other servers, I have experienced moments when people are spamming me in chat when I am dealing with an argument, and it is hard to handle all of it at once, but I feel as if I am really good at keeping calm, and that this is an important skill, and one of my greatest strengths.

What do you consider your greatest weakness?

I would say that my greatest weakness is empathizing with other players. Although I am a very nice player, I am not the best at understanding how other players feel, as I think that I am pretty unique, and I might not be able to tell if someone is being serious or joking. As a staff member on past servers, I have noticed that I might take things too literal, and mute someone for a joke, and then later understanding that it was a joke when at first I thought they were telling someone a bunch of rude things. Although I am sure most staff take things literal as it is their job to moderate and such.

Which Brawl server(s) are you most active on?

The Brawl server I am most active on is definitely WarZ, but I also spend some time on Capture the Flag if certain friends are on, and I also like to spend time on Party when I am not doing anything. Out of those three game modes, WarZ is the game mode I am most active in by far.

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past?

I have not made any staff applications in the past.

    Do you have Discord?

    Yes, my discord is Gould_#4740.

Anything else you would like to state?

Thank you guys for letting me apply despite my low forums activity. I feel like I lack on my forums activity, but I do go on the brawl discord from time to time, and I am on WarZ all the time, so thank you SoCool for encouraging me to apply, and I would like to thank the staff manager for this opportunity.

    Hey Gould_!
You definetely have a lot of experience/knowledge of brawl, and I have no doubts that you are mature enough for the role (not a single punishment).
Though I'd recommend getting active on all platforms, and that includes the forums. Forums is a pretty big requirment for a staff applicant, and should be taken into consideration.

Make sure to suggest ideas, give others your feedback on their ideas and overall help others with their questions/problems (specifically brawl related).

    +0 Good luck

You have previous experience on 2 servers, and I've spoken to a couple of people about you and they've only had positive things to say. I'd recommend contributing more, but often staff applicants who don't contribute much are waiting for a proper opportunity to do so, and I'm willing to give you that opportunity. +1, good luck.
