Removal Of Recoil [Poll]

Ice Bear is opposed to this idea because of how strong it would make automatic weapons. Automatic weapons can seriously make it hard to fight back against especially if you are using a sniper due to the pressure it brings. However while they are shooting the recoil makes it harder for them to move so it is possible to land a good shot on them. Now imagine how hard it will be to fight against a storm off bullets flying your way against someone who is able to jump and strafe. Ice Bear says this would be a huge buff for automatics and only a minor buff to snipers and shotguns.

 

imo simulating legacy war isnt a necessary good, especially when whats being emulated wasnt a good feature in legacy war

I wouldn't mind removing it from some weapons like pistols, the 3 burst automatics maybe, along with some of the snipers (not inter or barrett). Like ice said the full automatics are already pretty strong as they are.

 

As a Legacy fan, I support the removing of recoil. Nevertheless I don't play War 2.0 that much and can also understand other positions. Therefore I suggest to do a test. Just remove it for 2 weeks and make another poll afterwards, finally deciding about it.

 

I think it should be removed, however this is not the biggest problem with the guns, its the hitreg. I'm interested to see how this changes gameplay.

Hmm, maybe bring back war 1.0. You are still able to play it. You don't even need a developer! Anything would be an update from 2.0, so why not bring that back?

I support this idea, but maybe a trial period where it is implemented for maybe a week would be best to test it, and then an in-game poll could be used to gauge the player bases true opinion on it after actually playing with it.
