What is your in-game name? - NMHRODMAN1SBEST

Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - Yes, my account is entire secure.

How old are you? - 18

What time zone are you in? - Eastern Standard Time

Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - No, I cannot speak multiple languages. My native language is English and I have a strong understanding of it.

What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I've been around on Brawl for a little over 7 years, starting out of WarZ and War. Since then, I've seen nearly every new game mode Brawl has released and have spoken with or know most of the WarZ community. I have very strong game knowledge as well, as I have been fairly relevant in the community for many years. Of course, I do not know as much about War or Party for example, but I can guarantee there are not many people more knowledgeable in regards to WarZ as I am.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - Around 2014 and 2015, I moderated a factions server that averaged around 20 daily players for around a year. I had a short stint Moderating WarZ in early 2018 as a J-Mod, but was forced to resign due to increasing amounts of school pressure. I also Moderated WarZ during the comeback, only resigning a month ago.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - I can make a difference. I was able to make a huge difference last time I was accepted, making a large contribution to the comeback of WarZ, as evidenced by this:

By coming back, I can bring an experienced look to the WarZ Moderator line-up, same as I did last fall.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Yes, but never on Brawl.

Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - Yes, I was muted a couple of times exactly one month ago, along with a one day kick. I understand this may come as a warning sign, so I made sure to wait one month before applying. I understand what I said was wrong.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - My greatest strength is easily my knowledge of WarZ's community and gameplay mechanics, as well as my charismatic abilities.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - My greatest weakness is my lack of knowledge of specific WarZ hacked clients. WarZ clients have different mods and some of them are hard to pick out. When I was moderating before, I would consult with a close friend on the staff team who has an excellent understanding of WarZ hacked clients (Havai).
To supplement this weakness, I can:

• Consult with other Moderators before making any hard-to-tell bans.
• Watch players that are believed to be cheating for an extended amount of time, as well as ask for assistance from those who are more informed than I am.

Which Brawl server(s) are you most active on? - MC-WarZ

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? - I have submitted 4 total applications, 2 being denied and 2 being accepted.

What is the date of the last application you submitted? - September 14th, 2019. (Accepted.)
Do you have Discord? - Yes, and I am very active in the WarZ Community Discord, ranking 6th in messages sent.

This pandemic will increase my playtime. Of course, when I get my job back my activity may drop a slight amount. However, with no school for the rest of the year and the entirety of summer I will be very active throughout. I have no plans on leaving after the pandemic.

Each time I have resigned it has been mostly in part of school. With no school anytime soon I do not see myself resigning in the foreseeable future.

 

Regarding the mutes, I will admit that a few of the mutes were dumb mistakes that shouldn't have happened, and I truly do not know why I continued. However, I will say that at least three of those warnings were warned in-game and then re-warned through a chat report. Many of these were slight flame messages that should've been kept out of chat, but not all of them.

As Moderator, I oversaw the ban of many cheaters as well as players who were alting at the time. (Including klr2001, Nunyabizniz.) I helped institute the new team system, and make many changes in-game. I oversaw many map changes, including a popular map tower change that has since been reverted and the return of the one-story enderchest on old-map nether. I was also part of a larger movement to restore WarZ to its former glory, mostly succeeding as evidence by today's popularity. I consider this to be my greatest achievement.

As a staff member, I can bring the view of an experienced moderator, as well as one of a vastly experienced player. There aren't many Moderators on the current WarZ staff team who have been around as long as I, or are as active in-game.

Of course it was meant as a joke. This will not be happening as a staff member, obviously. That message being sent so recently is a little immature of course but is still over half a month ago.

 

Thank you for the support. Simply hoping that won't happen again is not good enough for me, however. Comments such as these will never be made again, staff or not staff, as they show immaturity. I'm above this nowadays.
