Idea keep legacy war

    "but its broken!!! it cant be fixed!!!" you know what else is broken and can't be fixed? the united states. doesn't stop you from living here except for those of you that actually don't. legacy mc-war being broken doesn't stop people from playing and enjoying the mode that many of us grew up with.

    i wasn't there for the event but i took a peek at the discord server and the vc was ****ing PACKED. people clearly enjoy playing despite the fact that it's full of bugs and hasn't fundamentally changed since 2014. when you ask someone "hey wanna play war 2.0?" everyone sleeps through the message. ask "wanna play legacy war?" and society goes wild. people who haven't played in years were there for the event. people who forgot brawl existed remembered its existence for the event.

    i opened up minecraft, joined war 1 and was blasted in the face with nostalgia as you can see in the below photo

    people love this mode. "its broken" isn't a good enough reason to remove a mode that's been giving brawl traffic for years.

    No. War is dead. It only worked today because we all got together. Even then we only managed to reach 50 or 60 players at the same time. Not enough for a daily returning playerbase. Let the staff focus on bringing brawl up to the glory days, then bring mc-war back as a banger gamemode. It'll hit like a bomb.

    be honest with me ctf is like the only gamemode that people play without being prompted to

    Was it "packed"? When I played there were no more than eight players in it.
