Idea Party 2.0 Personal Thoughts + Ideas

    With Party 2.0 recently being released, I'd like to share some things I liked, some things I disliked, and other ways to help improve the game. I've wrote power notes for each gamemode that's included in Party and like to share what they are. Feel free to reply with your own thoughts on the game and ways to improve it as well! Without further ado, here is what I came up with...

    • Feels better than before
    • Might become stale in a short period of time
    • Perhaps add effects that causes it to be harder to paint such as blindness, nausea, speed, slowness
    • Make players see through (have same effect as ninja invis on ctf)
    • Basic gamemode, maybe too basic
    • Make random sheep turn from positive to negative points
    • Have more negative points such as -1 point, -10%, -25% rather than just -50%
    • More bigger custom maps for more room to move, spawn in same of amount of sheep all throughout the game, not have it spawn less at the start and more at the beginning. With more room to move around, add in the double jump effect for everyone to use. Also add in a knockback stick to hit people away
    • Maybe change to team based game?
    • Fix 1.16 bows, feels very random whenever you shoot, 1.8.9 bows are much better
    • Remove arrow pickup
    • Replenish arrows after 3 seconds of losing one
    • Max arrow cap of 2
    • Change last man standing wins to first to 25 wins (avoids players from being spectator too long and keeps them playing)
    • Add classes for example: Brawler (spawns with a sword + bow), Axeman (spawns with throwable axe), Archer (spawns with bow but replenishes faster), etc
    • Good how it is
    • Just needs better visual maps
    • Fix minecarts flying outside the targeted zone
    • Add in more custom note block songs
    • Fun new game
    • Kind of hard to play
    • Moving logs is a nice touch up
    • Make course longer and have the starting traffic be slower than towards the end (maybe add checkpoints instead)
    • Make it so your position on the scoreboard depends on how far you made it, not from where the timer/game ends. It's annoying to get far and then have to restart because of a slip up, and then you get 17th place or something instead.
    • Make players see through (have same effect as ninja invis on ctf)
    • Remove having multiple targets on you or have your target be one of the people on you
    • After killing someone, make the person's compass (the person targeting you) defective for a short period of time
    • Maps should not be flat, big mansion type maps would be great for this gamemode to make it challenging finding your target
    • To avoid camping and hiding, players will start taking damage if they don't move to a new location, 1.16 users will see them highlight briefly as well
    • Easy to target someone and make them lose
    • Strange mode where you have to move your head a lot, kinda nauseous for some people
    • Change it so you run over blocks to color them instead, give speed 4 or something
    • Change it to a team based game, 2 or 4 teams
    • Change sound when coloring the blocks to something less loud
    • Good how it is
    • Fun new game
    • Still buggy as well
    • Remove it from taking you back to spawn if you crash into something
    • Collision on
    • Change it so it spawns you randomly on the map, not at mid
    • This is basically One in the Chamber unless you change that to the way I described it above
    • Auto switch slots when you run out of snowballs to the next one, if you have none, it auto switches you to the shovel
    • Have 3 lives instead of 1
    • Basic game
    • Maybe rework it to be more like a beat the parkour type map (similar to dragon escape on Mineplex)
    • Change it so your placement is from how far you got even if you had to restart
    • Make players see through (have same effect as ninja invis on ctf)
    • Inconsistent smoke that needs to be worked on
    • Smoke is fairly wide to jump over and hard to determine when to jump
    • Unique gamemode
    • Very buggy still
    • Add in checkpoints after each successful launch to avoid going back to the start
    • Change it so your placement/position is from how far you got
    • Make players see through (have same effect as ninja invis on ctf)
    • Decent basic gamemode
    • Maybe add in effects to make it challenging like blindness
    • Custom resource pack to go with this?? It can help stop xray pack users from winning if they're forced to use it. Also a custom resource pack can be used for the rest of the gamemodes to make it look better.
    • Decent basic gamemode
    • Add power ups to pick up like speed, health boost, etc.
    • Fun unique gamemode
    • Spawn in a lot less balls
    • Highlight balls in 1.16 to make it easier to see
    • Enlarge the balls?
    • Fun unique gamemode
    • Dying to damage is annoying, especially if they're hard focused on you. Perhaps remove it and keep the kb how it is, but break blocks easier
    • Fun gamemode
    • Lack of maps
    • Potentially fun gamemode
    • Add in parkour elements to this, instead of just running in a straight line (parkour type maps)
    • Make players see through (have same effect as ninja invis on ctf)
    • Slow type game as of now
    • Speed up game by gaining kb % faster
    • Impossible to get away from the infected
    • Change infected speed to the same as human speed
    • Better maps to outmaneuver the infected (hide and seek type maps)
    • Be able to instantly pass back the tnt
    • Better maps that are not just flat
    • Basically Sheep Shear
    • I don't see why both should be in rotation
    • Space out players by a block or two, feels very crowded
    • Sheep name tags are hard to tell, even the color is hard to tell
    • Make them fall down faster
    • Needs new maps
    • Have changing mines so you never know what exact routing to take
    • Take normal kb if you're off the platform. This avoids people targeting you and keeping you off with their kb stick while you're able to knock them with yours and get back on
    • Very buggy still
    • Needs new maps
    • More power ups to pick up, not just 3 next to each other
    • Remove cheat sheet paths that help you cut ahead and add in proper shortcuts
    • Add collision and slow down when you collide with someone
    • At the beginning of the race, have everyone invis (like ninjas invis) for 5 seconds to avoid collision
    • Turning slows you down, the more drastic the turn is, the slower you become
    • Add jump effect. You can make some nice maps that have holes you have to jump over so you don't mess up
    • Colliding against a wall slows you down
    • Fun gamemode
    • Make the floor the void instead of instantly dying as soon as you touch it. Sometimes you jump over and it registers that you've touched it. Change it so you die to the void instead.
    • Add more layers rather than having just one, so you have a chance to climb back up to higher ground
    • Add double jump effect
    • Add kb from pvp (without the damage portion of it)
    • Interesting game
    • Mazes are very similar each time and you usually take the same similar route to the end
    • Randomize maze by a lot/make it better
    • Change leaves to a solid block instead. Seeing through them helps out a ton
    • Change it so your placement is from how far you got even if you had to restart
    • Add gaps in the floor than just having to run through/over holes in the wall
    • Add a swimming portion to do
    • Add other things related to the show wipeout and/or to the gamemode in fall guys
    • Make players see through (have same effect as ninja invis on ctf)
    • Make some blocks higher than others
    • Charge your jump to go higher
    • Decent gamemode
    • Make blocks less instant (sometimes it would go from yellow to instantly red to instantly disappear)
    • Revamp this to be runner instead. Much better gamemode in my opinion. This is also known as tnt run on hypixel. Add multiple layers rather than having just one

    Overall
    Massive improvement from the old party, but it feel like it can lose players quickly if they don't see changes especially after reusing some old game modes. I personally thought it would be completely new. One huge issue are the lack of maps and variety of them. They need to be detailed and visually appealing to keep people attracted to party. But yeah the lack of maps is something big that's holding party from feeling like it has more to give other than the bugs/gameplay. Also I mentioned this in the discord, but having a custom texture pack to go with party would be nice to have. You'd be able to change like the cow models in frogger to actual cars, things like that. All in all, it's nice to see party way better than what it was and I know it's only a glimpse of what's yet to come to brawl. Good job everyone

    I like the new minecraft party, I like the new games they added too. I think some of the old games too should have new maps as well, I like also a old game they returned the boat racing one.

    Music minecraft isnt new its just readded
    Frogger readded as well
    you cant xray on diamond mine I tested it back when I was staff to be sure of it
    Id say so far this has been a great update I may have not played it much yet but I was glad to see some new stuff

    I don’t remember some of the games you mentioned are re-added, I only remember the boat race and assassins, I forgot if assassins was removed and re-added

    They had been gone for a long while so I'm sure that may be why.
    Also yeah boat race was an old one too I forgot if assassin was readded or is new

    Personally I like not having too many checkpoints on minigames like Trident Power, Frogger etc. Still gives players a chance to catch up and what not.
