If you do not meet the requirements (active, helpful, must have Discord, etc) do not apply yet; it will be an auto deny.

What is your in-game name? - Warrey
Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - Yes, my Minecraft account is secured and migrated.

How old are you? - 17
What time zone are you in? - My country observes Central European Time (CET) as standard time. When Daylight Saving Time (DST) is in force, Swedish clocks run on Central European Summer Time (CEST).

Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? -
I mainly speak Swedish which is my mother tongue but have been grown up with a lot of American English starting from young age watching TV commercials and sitcoms on English. I have also gathered a lot of speaking skills from school. However I got most of my English speaking to people online, especially throughout my many years on Brawl. Where I today feel more comfortable than ever in all forms of English.

German is another language where I believe that I show talent. With relatives speaking it I can understand all basic forms of the language. When it comes down to Germans on Brawl, who are mostly teenagers then it is usually very basic which gave me an advantage in understanding discrimination when I was previously in the Staff Team.

I am quite weak in French with around a 2 year knowledge, I understand some basics and can probably handle French discrimination in chat to some extent as I have been learning some swearwords.

When it comes to the closely related languages to Swedish which are; Icelandic, Norwegian and Danish I actually understand most of it, especially the written part. Norwegian and Icelandic might be a little bit easier as Danish is a lot faster. This has also given me previous advantage in moderating.

What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? -
After joining Brawl in 2013 on my first account "emlego" I played a variety of game-modes including MineStrike, War, WarZ and Party where I began gathering knowledge from all sorts of game-modes until from being stuck on MC-War. In 2014 however, I began playing MC-WarZ regularly which I had never done before. WarZ has always been that one game-mode that I only played for an hour to then switch to War. This changed in 2014-15 where WarZ would become my main game-mode. WarZ was different and in my opinion difficult to become good at. Compared to many other players, I am probably one of few who has never taken any long breaks. Therefore I have gathered a lot of experience throughout the years from being interested and participating in events. This is shown by the many opinions I have in certain areas, which shows that I am able to build opinion as I have the knowledge.

It is quite fascinating actually how Brawl, specifically WarZ has changed throughout the years, if someone who played Brawl in 2013 joined today, it would be a completely different server. I have never had or experienced that feeling. Instead I have experienced why people left in the first place. It is quite easy to figure out certain reasons to why people stay and leave, which is only possible if you have been in the community long enough. From seeing especially WarZ's rise and fall I want to use my experience and knowledge to come to conclusions and help the Staff Team on what goes well and what is not necessary for the survival of WarZ.

I have also had a lot of dialogues with various players and staff which I believe gives me an overall view on what we could improve together and what other players believe work. We all come from different experiences which I think is really cool could be a key factor in making everyone satisfied which I call balanced decisions. Experience also comes from helpfulness, as I think that people are more open to share ideas and give back if you treat everyone equal. Therefore I believe people trust me when they ask for help.

To prove my knowledge and experience as anyone could of written the things that I just did above I have made several lists and charted players over time to come to a conclusion on "Who are the greatest WarZ players of all time" From the time-span 2013 - 2020; https://www.brawl.com/threads/75344/ I believe that this is only possible if you have been in the community from the early days.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? -
If you would like to know my moderating history which is quite detailed and unnecessary information that might not connect to my experience of moderating, it is more based on experience of outcomes. It is also quite old so my English might not be at its best.

Yes and there are three servers worth mentioning.

    StarZ - This practice server was quite popular back then with special and unique guns and sometimes reached 30 people if a lucky day. However there were probably ten candidates who had a better reputation and maturity back in 2015 who actually played the server but the MOD rank was given to me because of my friendship with the Owner and staff which were also Swedish. However I learned discipline and maturity here which helped me much easier getting staff, moving onto my next position;

DeadCentral - As @Atum explained in his Staff Application this server was a somewhat photocopy after hackers dominating WarZ on Brawl in early 2019 without any active staff. I had a huge interest in following and helping the unique community out somewhere else even though I was incredulous about the new one coming. But most active players at that time had no choice from my view if they wanted to play. I viewed DeadCentral as a server where I could freshly start from zero since I had a couple mutes in late 2018 on Brawl. I during this time got along well with others and answered questions because I had been in contact with a lot of the higher-ups regarding bringing everyone back and in that subject showed talent because of my knowledge from Brawl.

I was then told to make an application by a group of people who thought I could be helpful and gather everyone once again. Becoming staff was taking responsibility which I had never done before at that serious level because I had to follow some duty ethics with a much larger and growing player-base than ever before. If my friend would cheat back then I would not care but now when I had such an important role people believed in me and the owner and admins had given me an important mission. I had to ban everyone who did not follow the rules which was important to keep the player base happy and the game functioning. I learned all the commands and was given SMOD the last week before everything collapsed because of lost console access and the person logging into staff accounts which stole way too much time, which was the case in October 2019 on Brawl. After that the Community moved back to Brawl where I currently am and want to help here (end of 2019).

As you might of figured I was previously staff on Brawl. I made it to MOD where I began recording cheaters which is something staff is obliged to do first week of banning players. So I have therefore studied the handbook and became friends with a lot of the staff, where I tried my best to learn from their experience. So I guess I have basic Moderator experience.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? -
If I am going to be honest I think that it is boring to only play. There has not been a single server that I have constantly played that I have not been engaged or shown excitement or interest in administration. I have been told that I make fair decisions that people agree with. I also love to come to middle grounds and try to understand people by arguing and to see different views on stories. No one is perfect, but I believe that I feel comfortable in making wise decisions after my experience.

I almost forgot, the Staff Team is also absolutely great and the environment is just amazing and filled with positivity and joy. This made me continue to contribute while I was in the staff team. Motivating each other with not just Brawl, but with interests in General. I am currently in the staff Discord, where I cannot see every discussion obviously. I just felt like home and really did love the environment.

A major factor is all the projects I was previously involved with, which I have plans and ideas on how Brawl could develop and what creates excitement and get players stuck on especially MC-WarZ. I care for Brawl, which is why I have contributed. Becoming a moderator on Brawl will help my work and open new doors to what has to be done and how we can move towards a bright future.

    Here are some of my recent contributions;

I really like to keep a friendly environment, therefore I tend to chatreport people since whenever someone discriminates a fellow player, they tend to fight back. I do my best to chatreport this which I believe could be done quicker if I were to become staff. I came first in both January and February with the most valid chat-reports.

The recent building added in almost a year which I and a couple old friends from Wild West and WarZ built, where I made around 90%. General opinion of this has been positive, from what I have been told.

I have also tried my best to introduce new players to the current WarZ and how to actually survive and play the game. Two of my MC-WarZ Tutorials are currently on the Brawl YT. You can watch the third one on my YouTube channel. I believe that it is possible for me to have a better understanding as a moderator what is currently going on in the Staff Team and what they are planning which could also help my work in the Media Team.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? -
Yes, sadly. Not something that I am proud of. However I tried it out because of curiosity. If you just search on "Minecraft" on YouTube all the hacks will pop up. I was always that one guy who never had texture packs or thousands of clients downloaded unlike everyone else. I was concentrating on playing the game and tried out my first hacked client back in 2016 after finding one for pvp. I never really understood, nor did I know what I was doing.

I personally believe that I was terrible at hacking. I would get caught immediately for the dumbest thing. I have mostly tried out hacking on other servers than Brawl. However I never saw a career in hacking nor was it fun. You have no goals to achieve by hacking and I play Brawl for a challenge.

Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? -

My first ban was block glitching in 2013 on MC-War which I remember clearly. It is hard for me to claim everything I've done throughout the years and on every account because I share a lot of my accounts to friends. On Warrey which is my main account that I have been playing on I have not done anything since late 2018 which is a year ago. https://www.brawl.com/history/player/warrey
I did a couple bad stuff before the Brawl history change in summer 2017 where bans and history were reset throughout Brawl which is why my punishments are not available to view. I see a Death Wish date 2018-02-01 which was very childish coming from a 14 year old me. You shall not ignore your past but rather look at it and tell yourself that you regret it and that you want to improve.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - My availability, I am always down to help people which is what I think has gave me my current neutral opinion in the community. This is what I believe has turned me into a diligent person and the contributions that I have made, simply because I have enjoyed the feedback. It is also important to mention that I never give up. I have kept up the positive mindset and tried to get staff for around half a year now.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - I could be tremendously passionate about different ideas or topics that I have and completely ignore everything else. It is important here to allow other people to change my idea which I am constantly working on. Because you can never do everything yourself. Another issue that is worth mentioning is my kindness. I have talked to people on WarZ, they have said that people could use me for my kindness. That I need to stand up and pick a side which is simply not in my nature.

Which Brawl server(s) are you most active on? - WarZ and Party.

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? - I have made four Brawl Staff Applications in the past.

What is the date of the last application you submitted? - January 7th, 2020
Do you have Discord? - Yes, Warrey#9081

Anything else you would like to state? -
Yes, this part will be important. To quickly summarize it I made a Staff Application in December 2019 which got denied. I was later accepted on my second application in January last year and was staff for around 4 months. Small events that led to my demotion are things that I have been working on super hard. Ever since my demotion I have been trying to get back to the Staff Team. The recent ones after my demotion I have been told different things to work with. One of them was my previous relation with two staff, who now supported my recent staff application after apologies. Another thing was confidential information, which I was given examples have been working with immensely. This includes not talking too much in Discord. As you do not need opinions on everything.

I continued asking what I needed to do, so the thing that I was told by a staff with a lot of knowledge that really "diminishes it" was apparently an old warning regarding leaking. This is tremendously serious as you should as a Staff Member keep everything private. But as I explained my greatest weakness is kindness. I went a step too far, sort of. I would not blame everything on me personally. However to make this clear and I will show this response from Minesheep at the time about this incident. I will explain this as good as I can.

I made sure that on that day that it would never happen again. I did everything in my power to change the way I behave to continue as a good staff. I did not get demoted because of this which shows that I did not repeat the same mistake. After I got demoted I also spoke to both Ritzy and Minesheep how I wanted to continue and help Brawl towards a positive direction. I was still a trusted member of the community and therefore continued to work on the major project of WarZ, without telling anyone about anything. I believe that this shows that I really learned my lesson.

I want to show that I am capable and that I have changed drastically during the time-span of around a year and come back to finish what I started. You cannot ignore someone's past, as all of this needs to be taken into consideration. However I believe that my recent contributions has shown that I truly care about Brawl and that I want to bring Brawl into a bright future. Thank you for considering my application! Your response really matters, I would be tremendously happy to know what I can amend.

    Thank you for your time,
    - Warrey
